Itinerario
La Casa della Vergine Maria è un santuario cattolico e musulmano situato a Bülbüldağı, nei pressi di Efeso. Questo luogo sacro è stato premiato con la visita di diversi Papi e con la Benedizione del Patriarcato.
Scopri una delle città commerciali più famose dell'antico impero greco e romano. Efeso è probabilmente il sito antico più famoso in Turchia. Era un centro commerciale occupato come città portuale. Efeso ebbe una grande influenza sul mondo antico. Anche come un importante centro religioso del primo cristianesimo e una delle sette chiese menzionate nel Libro delle Rivelazioni. A Efeso vedrai la Biblioteca del Celcus, il Tempio di Adriano, la fontana di Traiano e il Teatro e altro ancora.
Visiteremo l'Ephesus Experience Museum e faremo un salto nel passato con una tecnologia all'avanguardia che fa rivivere l'antica città! Attraverso incredibili proiezioni e mostre interattive, sentirai com'era vivere realmente a Efeso durante il suo periodo migliore: un modo perfetto per inserire le rovine di marmo che hai appena visto in uno splendido contesto storico.
Si tratta di residenze esclusive situate sulle pendici di fronte al Tempio di Adriano lungo via Curetes. Comunemente conosciute come le “case dei ricchi”, sono state scoperte durante recenti scavi. Le case vicine a via Curetes sono caratterizzate da portici colonnati, mentre le strade a gradoni si collegano direttamente agli ingressi delle case. Ci fermeremo alle Terrace Houses ed esploreremo le Case dei ricchi Efesini.
Pranzo a buffet libero in un ristorante locale con cibo tradizionale turco e opzioni vegetariane a Selcuk. Alla fine del tour ti riporteremo all'aeroporto di Smirne.
Tempio di Artemide, noto anche come Tempio di Diana. Del tempio, considerato una delle sette meraviglie del mondo, rimangono solo uno o due pezzi di marmo.

We had an amazing experience visiting Ephesus, from the House of the Virgin Mary to the main old town and the Temple of Artemisa, and Huseyin Apaydin was the greatest guide ever!!!

Excellent walk, all planned in advance, Hugo guide has a lot of knowledge and a lot of patience so you have a walk with good information and good photos. Being from the area you know the best times to visit the tourist areas. They could skip taking you to the shops that are not liked by everyone, but I understand that all package tours include it as part of their services.

It was a busy long day with much information and interesting sites. It was 102 degrees F (end of June) so lots of water was needed. Tour guide, Doris, provided water for us.
