Fin dai tempi di Bisanzio, Imerovigli, uno dei villaggi più imponenti di Santorini, sorge sul punto più alto della caldera. Si ritiene che il primo insediamento di Skaros sia stato costruito nel 1207 dal veneziano Giacomo Varotsi, a cui fu concessa Santorini dopo la conquista di Costantinopoli da parte dei crociati nel 1204. Il villaggio moderno domina un imponente vulcano a circa 300 metri sul livello del mare. Si trova a circa 3 km a nord-ovest di Fira sulla strada per Oia. L'azienda vinicola Artemis Karamolegos, radicata nei vigneti vulcanici di Santorini e con una tradizione di vinificazione dal 1952, è una delle aziende vinicole più dinamiche e in rapido sviluppo di Santorini. The experience of the private tour in Santorini with Top Santorini Tours was simply amazing. Along with the well-known popular spots, we were also shown some lesser-known, hidden beauties, which made the whole day even more special for us. Our guide Themis was very sincere and humble. Throughout the tour, she provided a lot of information about Santorini, and went out of her way to help us capture beautiful moments of our family at each place — which will be priceless memories for us. The extra care and compassion she showed to my mother while climbing the steep and high stairs was truly touching. Her warm hospitality, deep knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail made the entire tour seamless and meaningful. About 3 hours total - the wineries are very close to each other so not much travel time involved. Opportunities to purchase wine after each tasting but no pressure either. Our driver Nicholas was a local who was proud to share the history of Santorini as we traveled.

After being scammed by another company, we were extremely stressed, especially while traveling with a child. That’s when truly came to our rescue like a blessing. We booked the package, and from the beginning their team was incredibly professional, flexible, and supportive. Our guide George especially made the entire experience smooth and comfortable. Even without an airport kiosk, they arranged vehicle pickup directly from the airport, which helped us a lot. What impressed us most was their support during a difficult situation involving a possible missed flight — they stayed in contact the entire time and continued helping us without hesitation. The quality of service was outstanding, and the pricing was far more reasonable compared to many other providers. Santorini wines are so unique and this tour is an amazing way to see the best of the best ! Our guide George took us to the best spots, knew everyone and really took care of us. Tour was fun and informative. Got to see the smallest, largest and newest wineries near Fira. Lots of wine tastings and great snacks. Was a nice way to engage with other travelers. Driver and guide were wonderful.

We had a great time touring the vineyards and meeting some wonderful people. Unfortunately it was foggy so the sunset was not visible but we had a chance to see it at other times so it really didn’t matter to us. Overall it was a great experience

This experience was perfect for us! Since November is after the tourist season, our tour was very personalized with only one other couple besides us. Mary was our tour guide, and she was great - very knowledgeable and fun. The tour took us to 3 vineyards: the largest in Santorini, the third largest, and the smallest. The smallest (Art Winery) was so welcoming, and they clearly know Mary well which made for an even more enjoyable experience for us. We would highly recommend this tour - it's a great way to learn about Santorini, see more of the island, and of course drink good wine!
