Very informative. Quality over quantity. Visited one very good vineyard and one average. One more stop and less driving would be better
Gordana knows wine and Provence! Her energy and knowledge brought our group together as we absorbed the beautiful area … and the wine! Going solo is no problem with Gordana as your guide.
The personal relationship that Emily and Gordana have with the winery owners made this experience beyond my expectations. I have been to a lot of wineries, but to watch the interaction between the tour operator and the wine owners and how they worked in tandem, made it for an incredible experience. We got to sample some amazing wines and I bought way too many.
This tour was wonderful! So informative on wine making in the region and education in how to taste wines. It is clear the wineries and the tour guides have friendships. We drive through lovely wine country and tasted amazing wines - had the opportunity to ship back to the US.
This was a fun afternoon visiting two wine makers. I loved all the wines presented! So good! Our guide, Erik, was full of details about the countryside and even gave us a historic overview of Avignon.
A must do for lovers of wine. Gordana has an infectious personality, great knowledge of the region and its history and allows you to sit back and enjoy some amazing wines without the worry of both finding these venues in the tight winding streets of Cháteauneuf De Pape and watching how much you are drinking. A particular highlight was the tasting at Les Caves St Charles. The venue, wines and guidance from Guy will be hard to top!
Everything you need is provided, the guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Fun throughout. You'll be sure to learn something you didn't know about wine. We visited two wine houses and enjoyed some of the history of the fantastic and famous wine region. I would definitely book again!
Best tour of our six week European road trip! Guide was funny and informative and the wineries we visited were excellent. Learned a lot about southern France wine production.
Eric was exceptional! He provided a wonderful experience, we learned more about the making of wine, the people and history of winemaking in the region. The wineries we visited were outstanding and Eric handled all the shipping details for wine to the U.S. The entire day was one we will never forget. We highly recommend Eric!
Great tour with Eric. Eric was knowledgeable and funny which made the tour even better. Eric took us first to a small, family run winery where we learned about their history, the process, and region. This was followed by a stop in the local vineyards and a stop at a fantastic wine cave in the town of CDP. Overall, it was a really nice mix of wine tastings and learning about and seeing the broader region.
