Itinerario
La tua guida ti invierà un messaggio il giorno prima per organizzare il prelievo (verrà inviata una posizione vicina se l'hotel si trova in un parcheggio impegnativo). Il viaggio verso la prima cantina dura un'ora, partendo da Barcellona, e il pick-up è di solito alle 9 del mattino, ma questo potrebbe variare a seconda di altri pick-up e del programma del tour.
Inizieremo il tour con una visita alla cantina Artcava. Una piccola cantina situata in una vecchia fattoria catalana. Dove imparerai l'elaborazione del cava a Penedés, e potrai assaggiare 3 dei loro vini e cava principali.
La seconda fermata sarà a soli 5 minuti dalla prima cantina. Lì visiterai una cantina di 5 secoli. Di proprietà di 2 fratelli e sorelle parte della stessa famiglia dal 1800. Qui avrai un abbinamento di vini di 3 diversi spumanti e vini fermi e cibo locale. Nel bellissimo giardino che si affaccia sui vigneti della cantina. Il pranzo include prodotti locali come frittata spagnola, pane catalano e pomodoro, olio vergine di oliva, formaggi e salumi locali...
Vins el Cep è una bellissima cantina immersa nella natura. Il suo ambiente tranquillo è perfetto per una rilassante degustazione di cava. Qui, assaggeremo un Pet-nat e una Cava Gran Reserva.
Infine, il drop-off sarà effettuato a Barcellona intorno alle 16:00. Si prega di notare che questo programma potrebbe cambiare in base alla disponibilità delle cantine.

Pick-up Policy : Il servizio è disponibile all'interno della città di Barcellona. Anche se preferiamo il pick-up in hotel, ti potrebbe essere chiesto di incontrarti in una posizione vicina (max 10 - 15 minuti a piedi) per garantire che il tour rimanga nei tempi previsti. Very easy to book. Communication was clear and timely via What's App and email. The tour guide Joan was extremely knowledgable and gave us great details about the process of making Cava and how it is different from other wines. We had a wonderful relaxed day enjoying good wine, the beautiful catalan countryside and locally made cheese and sausage for lunch. Would definitely come again and highly recommend.

Joan is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about wine and Catalonia. Fluent English. Great relationships with the people at the wineries. The three wineries (Art Cava, Giro del Gorner, Vins el Cep) included a range of Cavas and some still wines with lunch at Giro del Gorner. Lunch was excellent. In summary it felt like an authentic experience of the region.

The horseback ride was wonderful, and the two wineries we visited were simply incredible. Such a wonderful experience! Our guide Ivan was fantastic. The 3 wineries we went to were a great mix of different places all with fabulous cava and some still wines. Lunch was lovely sitting under the olive trees over looking the vines. The first place Artcava with Marti was our favorite. It's also easy to ship wine home now which was a plus. Definitely ready to book another wine experience!
What a wonderful experience. Our guide, Joan “El Viajero del Cartón,” is an inspiring personality and a walking encyclopedia. His knowledge of Spanish history and winemaking is simply amazing. - We visited 3 wineries and enjoyed a typical Spanish lunch. - Thank you, Joan, and your team for this unforgettable trip. My husband and I visited Europe in May with an emphasis on learning a bit about the wines of the regions we visited. During our stay in Barcelona I came across WinoTours and am so happy I did! We booked the private tour directly through the WinoTours website - they offer all different types of tours of varying group sizes and at different locations. I communicated directly with Ivan who was super responsive and was able to quickly customize our three wineries. We were picked up in a personal car just one block from our hotel and within an hour were at the incredible Llopart vineyards where we had a wonderful tour with a formal tasting and learned so much about corpinnat and cava from Ramon! Next was a lovingly crafted lunch and casual format tasting at Giró de Gorner family winery. Ivan works closely with the family and really made us feel welcome. The views of the valley and jagged Monserrat were unbeatable. Our final stop was ArtCava boutique winery, it's difficult to describe how wonderful this little place given how much history, passion, and personality is packed into the space - truly an unforgettable visit. Ivan of course was the perfect guide! He kept the whole day running smoothly, was very knowledgable about the region, and is clearly respected by the wineries he frequents!
