Il vulcano attivo Bromo si trova in un paesaggio lunare di proporzioni mitiche e fascino glorioso. Il vulcano e i suoi dintorni offrono splendidi panorami. Sorge in un mare di sabbia vulcanica grigio-grigiastra, circondato dalle imponenti scogliere del bordo del cratere. Forma un paesaggio lunare. Mentre la savana - verde bottiglia durante la stagione delle piogge e oro al vertice della stagione secca - confina con Bromo a sud. Il Monte Bromo - alto 2392 m - è uno dei tre vulcani di un'antica caldera, che si estende per 10 km. Solo il cono del Monte Bromo è attivo. Il monte Semeru è la cima più alta di Giava - 3676 m - e fiorisce dietro il monte Bromo quando si trova al punto panoramico Penanjakan a nord del monte Bromo. Il Semeru è anche un vulcano attivo e getta le sue ceneri ogni 20 minuti. Quando anche il cratere di Bromo fuma, i panorami sono sublimi.

Una jeep verrà a prendervi al vostro Alloggio a Malang tra le 00:00 e le 00:30. In 2-3 ore arriverete al monte Penanjakan. Poiché è tra 0 e 10 °C vi aspetta uno spuntino caldo locale con caffè o tè caldo. Quando il sole sta per sorgere, puoi scegliere il tuo posto. Dal vostro drink di prima mattina fino al punto panoramico è a soli 100 metri a piedi. Le condizioni meteorologiche e l'attività del vulcano determineranno le vostre viste mattutine, ma le viste su questo paesaggio lunare sono sempre spettacolari quando il sole sorge.
Dopo l'alba - intorno alle 06:00 - il Grande Mare di Sabbia vulcanico è il prossimo. Questo Mare di sabbia circonda parzialmente il monte Bromo ed è color grigio-nero. Molti piccoli fiumi attraversano questo Mare di Sabbia. Puoi consumare la colazione da qualche parte in questo mare e goderti la splendida zona circostante, prima di proseguire per il parcheggio vicino al tempio di Poten Luhur.
Il tempio di Luhur Poten è un tempio indù situato all'interno del Mare di Sabbia che circonda il monte Bromo. Questo tempio è ancora attivamente in uso. Quando si tengono cerimonie, sei libero di guardare. Altrimenti il tempio è chiuso, ma certamente è una vista mozzafiato nel Mare di Sabbia. La jeep parcheggierà vicino a questo tempio, per iniziare la tua escursione verso il bordo craterico del vulcano attivo Bromo.
Si tratta poi di 45 minuti a piedi fino alla cima del monte Bromo. Se non hai voglia di camminare, puoi noleggiare un cavallo. Non dimenticare di smettere di camminare ogni tanto. Guardati alle spalle mentre i punti di vista continuano a cambiare. Il monte Bromo è un vulcano attivo in un'antica caldera con una larghezza di 10 km. Il mare di sabbia grigiastro e la savana - verde bottiglia durante la stagione delle piogge - circondano Bromo.
Una volta in auto, prosegui verso la savana, appena dietro il monte Bromo, chiamato anche la caldera Tengger. In base alla storia, la savana prima era un grande lago craterico. Si è asciugato e ha formato una vasta gamma di rocce e sabbie. La savana è oggi una vasta zona pianeggiante, con cespugli e colline, tra i quali puoi trovare le colline Teletubbies. A seconda della stagione, la savana è o molto verde o dorata.
Sulla via del ritorno a Malang, si può visitare la cascata Pelangi. Dopo la savana è un breve tragitto in auto per raggiungere il parcheggio della cascata. Poi è un'escursione di 30 minuti giù per la collina. Pelangi significa arcobaleno. Quando il sole splende una volta può vedere un arcobaleno sopra la cascata.
Il tempio di Jago è piccolo e costruito tra il 1275 e il 1300. Si ritiene che sia il luogo di sepoltura del re Wisnuwardhana, il quarto re del regno di Singosari. Dalla cascata Pelangi al tempio Jago ci vogliono circa 30 min. Il tuo tempo di ritorno a Malang dipende dal tempo che trascorri presso i vari oggetti sulla via del ritorno a Malang. Non abbiamo un programma di tempo, la quantità di tempo che si spende sugli oggetti è a voi di scegliere. In media i viaggiatori sono tornati a Malang intorno alle 12: 00 mezzogiorno.

I booked my Mount Bromo trip through Shelter Hostel Malang, not only was it easy and convenient to book with them but the staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling. I was also able to book my train ticket through the hostel which was a plus! The hostel itself is also very nice with great food and comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

This tour was spectacular, I did it twice as the first one touched us one cloudy day and we could not see anything and the second, two days later, was wonderful and worth all. What beautiful views you have from the viewpoint and then walk through the crater of the Brome listening to its roars, unforgettable. Just look at the weather forecast to make sure it’s not all covered and if you can avoid a better weekend as that’s when more people visit these places. Also from Malang take another excursion to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, very beautiful and the funny thing is that you go down a waterfall to reach the Ace Waterfall. And from Banyuwangi, take the tour to Kawa Ijen to see the blue lava, the climb to this place was challenging but paid for everything with the views and experience up there. Excellent company was a success to go with Smartine Indonesia Travel, all excursions included, roundtrip transportation, water and breakfast.

We had A very good time visiting Madakaripura waterfall and Bromo. Due to private circumstances unfortunately no IJen. Our guide and taxi driver Dodo was polite, helpfull and A very good guide. Drop at harbor for Bali was welk planned.
Had a great time! We had the Malang- Bromo tour, with Bali drop-off. Everything went well and just like the time schedule. They choosed what was the best for us to do and they did great! Thanks to Adit our tour guide, he was the best!! He made our time 100 times better :) And ofcourse Johan our driver, he did great to bring us safe everywhere. They where the nicest people! Really recommend this tour if you want to go to Bali from Malang in one day and have a daytrip to Bromo also! (Good breakfast included by the way ;))
This requires some condition. The tour consists of 2 parts. Sunrise on a hilltop and a visit to the crater bromo. You have to get out of bed early before sunrise. The view is nice but not so spectacular to get up early. Front best style walk after the 4 wheel drive. Visit to the Bromo crater requires condition because of the style long staircase but also the climb to the stairs. You can rent a horse for 200,000 rupiah. View of the crater is impressive as are the sulfur fumes

But mostly people choose the sunrise so they can do the sharing trip and get the cheaper price like you did. Depart early for teh sunrise is necessary because the view point is crowded. If you depart later, it's gonna be traffic in the view point and you will be late for the sunrise. You also need to have your spot to wait for the sunrise and it will be difficult to find a good spot when everything is already full. Awesome day getting picked up at 12:30am and going until 12pm. The sunrise was an amazing start to the day and getting up close to the crater is a must do not to mention all the stops in between. Looks like another world at the top! Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺
