La Cattedrale della Santa Croce e di Sant'Eulalia, nota anche come Cattedrale di Barcellona, è la sede dell'Arcivescovo di Barcellona in Catalogna, Spagna.
Date un'occhiata all'aggiunta decisamente moderna proprio accanto all'antica cattedrale di Barcellona. Queste sculture del XX secolo sono state create con le lettere dell'alfabeto artistico di Joan Brossa nel 1992. I sei pezzi in bronzo e uno in alluminio formano la parola Barcino, che era il nome della città prima che diventasse Barcellona.
Plaça del Rei, o Plaza del Re, è una serena piazza medievale nel cuore del Gotico. Circondata dal Palau Reial Major, o Palazzo Reale Maggiore, è facile immaginare i conti di Barcellona e i re d'Aragona (e forse Cristoforo Colombo?) che svolgono i loro doveri sotto l'occhio vigile di una maestosa torre del XV secolo.
Queste colonne sbalorditive del I secolo a.C. sono impressionanti sia per la statura che per la storia. Situati in un tranquillo cortile nel quartiere ebraico, i quattro monoliti furono scoperti del tutto per caso nel XIX secolo. Alte nove metri (quasi 30 piedi), le quattro colonne facevano parte di un tempio molto più grande, dedicato al culto dell'imperatore Augusto.
L'età di questo splendido ponte ad arco potrebbe sorprendervi, e i suoi segreti nascosti potrebbero spaventarvi un po'! Sebbene lo stile sia riccamente gotico, in realtà è stato costruito nel 1928 dall'architetto Joan Rubio, amico e discepolo di Antoni Gaudí. Affiancata dal Municipio di Barcellona e dal Palazzo del Governo Provinciale della Catalogna, Plaza Sant Jaume è il centro amministrativo della città e della regione! Un tempo sede della Chiesa di Sant Jaume, la vivace piazza ospita anche bar, cioccolaterie e tutti gli altri tipi di negozi al dettaglio. Un ottimo posto per separarsi!

Unreliable. They never showed. It was terrible. Wasted money, wasted time and a disappointed wife. Don’t use them.
