I booked for 3 adults, myself and my 2 granddaughters. We loved it because we could have a say in what we wanted to do. George offered options and we decided. He also opened up a new idea of experiencing Athens neighborhoods and the different vibes of the city. The combination with the ancient history and sites was a good balance. We recommend George as a guide for somone new to Athens

Despite the Labor Day holiday, Merkourios did a great job sharing wonderful Greek cuisine at various quaint restaurants, along with the history surrounding the food and local areas. Also enjoyed learning about his family’s history emigrating from Turkey to Greece.

Our guide, Natasha, was fantastic! He kindness, patience is admirable. She is a Greek who is proud of her heritage and country. Her knowledge allowed her to share in-depth the sites she took us to; The Acropolis, Plato’s, etc, etc. Quite a memorable experience.

The tour was a great experience, and was very informative. George, my guide, tailored the experience to my interest in architecture very well. We both had a good time visiting several of Athens many neighborhoods and museums. All together, this was a wonderful way to experience the city, as George’s expertise was far more beneficial than any internet ‘top 10’ list would be.
