L'arte non è la prima cosa che ci viene in mente quando pensiamo alla Bosnia ed Erzegovina ea Sarajevo, ma ti assicuriamo che Sarajevo ha una delle migliori scene d'arte della regione. In questo tour visiteremo alcuni luoghi di Sarajevo legati all'arte concettuale e contemporanea, parleremo con artisti locali e curatori d'arte. L'arte concettuale è una direzione nell'arte moderna dall'inizio degli anni '60 alla metà degli anni '70. È emerso come il desiderio di un artista di smaterializzare il soggetto dell'attività artistica, utilizzando opere d'arte e materiali non tradizionali (polaroid, arte, film, video, body art, happening, azione urbana). Unisciti a noi in questo fantastico tour! Iniziamo tutti i giorni alle 13, tranne la domenica, davanti al nostro colorato ufficio e agenzia turistica.

La galleria d'arte contemporanea Brodac si trova in un vecchio edificio che ha una storia e un'anima. Era una prigione durante l'occupazione austro-ungarica. Ora è diventato un luogo accogliente in cui è possibile visitare la mostra d'arte bosniaca contemporanea di tanto in tanto. Servono anche una straordinaria birra artigianale locale Gelender.
Ferhadija corre da ovest a est, da Vječna Vatra e dal punto in cui incontra la casa di Titova, fino alla via Gazi Husrev-Begova, dove poi si trasforma in via Sarači e prosegue verso est. Sulla via Ferhadija vedremo Sarajevo Roses, una cicatrice concreta causata dall'esplosione di un proiettile di mortaio che è stato successivamente riempito di resina rossa. I colpi di mortaio che cadono sul cemento creano uno schema di frammentazione unico che sembra quasi floreale. Poiché Sarajevo era un luogo di intensa guerra urbana e ha subito migliaia di esplosioni di proiettili durante l'assedio di Sarajevo, i marcati schemi di cemento sono una caratteristica unica della città.
Situata proprio nel centro della città, la Galleria Java (Titova 21) ha avuto un ruolo importante nell'affermazione e nella costruzione della scena artistica contemporanea di Sarajevo, dando agli artisti la possibilità di presentare il proprio lavoro in uno spazio espositivo molto attraente. La galleria lavora a supporto e promozione sia della BiH che di artisti internazionali, oltre a collaborare strettamente con artisti che lavorano in vari mezzi artistici e rappresentano la scena artistica contemporanea.
In uno dei parchi più famosi di Sarajevo vedremo una scultura dell'artista e scultore BH Mensud Kečo, una scultura dedicata al genocidio di Srebrenica. È la scultura '' Nermine, dođi '', fatta di cemento, barre di rinforzo, plastica e silicone, che rappresenta la più difficile fotografia documentata da Srebrenica all'artista.

An excellent tour and new perspectives on Sarajaevo and the street art scene. I highly recommend it.
This is an exceptional tour. Extremely rich and informative. It is about street art, with all its rituals, customs, famous artists, festivals. But not only. It covers architecture, with the highlights of Turkish and Austro-Hungarian buildings around the city. But also Bosnian traditions, the bazar, the Latin Bridge, some beautiful galleries. The guide is well informed on many subjects and his mastery of English is exceptional. Plus he guides you with a great smile. I truly enjoyed this tour. Would recommend it to everybody. If you are not interested in art, do it. You will see what you have missed.
One of the best tours we’ve had in this part of the Europe. Mak is an excellent guide. His passion for Sarajevo’s history and culture really shows. 100% recommendation to everyone. I went on a tour with my teenage son and we had a great time. We even got introduced to some local artists and craftsmen which was super cool!
The guide, Adnan, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He shared a lot of information both about the art and the artists and also about the Bosnian history and people. Even though some galleries were closed, we had no problem filling the day with beautiful art and interesting information.
I like the arts trip a lot, you will find many hidden arts places in this city in this tour. Mak is a super nice and knowledgeable guide, he will share not only the history but also his own experiences during the war. He is always helping with any questions. He even gave me a book he writed as a gift! I would highly recommend this tour with him. Thanks again Mak!
Enjoyed this Tour thorugh sarajevos Hidden places i would have never know without Alan. He Is A street artist himself and had great knowledge about bosnias time after the war in the late 90's and the role of street art in that time And nowadays. Our last stop was the National Gallery, an interesting Art collection. Definetly recommend It.
Just spent last week with this great group of people in Art and Tours visiting Sarajevo with my girlfriend. We did and amazing street art tour where the tour gides tought us a lot about street art in Sarajevo and Sarajevo culture in general.
