Il punto d'incontro. Un edificio iconico che rappresenta l'arrivo del XX secolo. Situato sulla Explanada de España, rappresenta lo stile modernista della città ed è un edificio che ha segnato un'epoca nel turismo e nello sviluppo urbano. Da qui inizieremo il nostro percorso attraverso la città per scoprire i suoi angoli più affascinanti.
Il municipio è il centro della città, da dove si estendono Calle Mayor e il quartiere di Santa Cruz. È un ambiente pieno di vita, negozi, monumenti e ristoranti dove i visitatori possono deliziarsi con gli stili di vita, i paesaggi urbani e i nostri migliori prodotti. Il municipio è stato costruito nel XVIII secolo e ospita il punto di misurazione di tutte le altezze in Spagna.
Una delle viste più iconiche della città e del quartiere vecchio. Una chiesa barocca che racchiude la storia della città e da cui possiamo godere di viste favolose. La chiesa faceva parte delle mura cittadine e ospita un'interessante collezione di arte barocca. Proprio accanto si trova il museo di arte contemporanea, da cui avremo viste panoramiche uniche della città.
Il Castello di Santa Bárbara è stato l'origine della città musulmana di Alicante. Ha tre periodi di costruzione e spiega gli eventi più importanti che la città ha vissuto, dalla conquista musulmana alla guerra civile spagnola. Passeremo attraverso la Puerta de la Santa Faz per raggiungere il "matxo" del castello (la parte superiore), e poi vi godrete un drink su una delle terrazze più magiche della città.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and the history of the area that he provided was excellent. The castle was amazing!

My wife and I met Javier. We started with a shuttle ride up to Santa Barbara Castle. As the shuttle ride wound its way up the castle Javier began telling us about the history of some of the sights/buildings the shuttle passed. When we made our way to the castle the history of the castle from the early beginnings to the present day continued. Javier was an amazing guide through history of not only the castle but also Alicante as far as the eyes could see. Our tour of the castle finished by walking down to Alicante through the barrio Santa Cru (?) known for it’s narrow pathways with white homes and blue color. Javier showed us discovered ruins in the city, churches, museums, the large nativity scene and so much more which I can’t describe here. It seemed that every time we turned a corner there was another piece of history which we happened upon. And with every turn there was someone who knew Javier. What could be more of a compliment than in a city that with every turn Javier was seemingly known by so many. Javier we can only say thank you for sharing your knowledge of Alicante and Spain with us. Great job!

I would give this tour company a zero if I could. They didn’t show up and left us stranded. We called them 10 times, sent messages and waited for 45 minutes. They ruined our only day in Alicante. Do not book with this company.

Tour guide never showed up and we tried calling 10 different times and no answer. Contacted Viator to hopefully get refunded.
