Il Taj Mahal, è un mausoleo islamico in marmo bianco avorio sulla riva destra del fiume Yamuna nella città indiana di Agra. Fu commissionato nel 1631 dall'imperatore Mughal Shah Jahan per ospitare la tomba della sua moglie preferita, Mumtaz Mahal; ospita anche la tomba dello stesso Shah Jahan.
Il forte di Agra è un forte storico nella città di Agra in India, noto anche come forte rosso. Fu costruito tra il 1565 e il 1573 per l'imperatore Mughal Akbar. Fu la residenza principale dei governanti del clan Sikarwar dei Rajput fino a quando i Mughal non la occuparono e la dinastia Mughal fino al 1638, quando la capitale fu spostata da Agra a Delhi.

Vicky picked us up from the station and took us to our homestay. He then picked us back up in a few hours and looked after us for the afternoon - we walked around Agra Fort, as well as seeing how the locals make beautiful marble, jewellery and carpets/rugs. Most of all, he was a delight! So funny, knowledgeable and very memorable. Thank you Vicky for such a wonderful day 😊

I cannot recommend a day exploring with Vicky, our driver, enough. He is completely charming and ensuring you have a good experience is his absolute priority. The itinerary made seeing as much of Agra as possible with limited time very straightforward and some of the spots we went to were completely deserted with other tourists. 10/10 can't recommend enough. We had already met Vicky in 2018 and we were happy to meet him again. He is friendly, competent and careful. He knows Agra very well. I had a bad fall sliding on the floor of baby Taj. He was very helpful in organizing the rescue and followed us to the hospital to make sure everything was okay. We highly recommend it! Thank you Vicky for your help which was a great comfort!
