The transfer from Agra to Japir was very comfortable. The driver Mr Raniwas very kind and professional. Nice clean and wide car. In Fathepur Sikri welcomed us the guide who in good English illustrated the beauties of this ancient capital. Very polite and good photographer we loved it. On the way to Jaipur we also made a stop at the Habaneri Baoli ancient well that does not need a guide for the visit. Excellent agency contacted us for all the details and we could even move the time. Recommended.
Thank you and Glad that you enjoyed !
Driver was great, patient and trustworthy. Our tour of fatepur sikhri was ruined by the guiltripping guide and pseudo cleric selling you three wishes for a "donation". And the classic Indian "exit through my friends gift shop" being forced to listen to them not take no for an answer for 10+ minutes. I'd recommend to future travellers to be clear and direct with what you're expectations are prior to starting the tour.
Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and appreciating the Car and Driver services ! However about the Guide you have mentioned that he showed you the Shop and Donation at Mosque but to make it clear the Mosque is located inside the Buland Darwaza and as a piece of information it is the duty of the Guide to inform the Guest about the rituals of the site ? Did the Guide forced you to pay donations? The answer is NO, Did the Guide asked you to buy something ? The answer is NO. Fatehpur Sikri is a small town and to promote the local tourism and support local businesses the Guide informs the Tourists about it but don't force for anything. Secondly the Tour is scheduled for 1.5 Hours only but you ended up closely 3.5 hours at the site for which the Guide was also there. He was patient enough to hover with you till the time you enjoyed the visit. We as a Team make sure that the Guests enjoy there tour to the best, which you did ! Just for sharing the information if you got irritated than we can not help. Anyways Thank you again !!
I purchased this transfer from the United States and it was nice to have everything booked and confirmed. The car was nice, excellent driver and the tour guides for the two stops between Jaipur and Agra were excellent. Overall a perfect experience.
We were promptly picked up from our Jaipur hotel and driven to Agra. On the way we stopped at the step well which was awesome. The driver waited for us for twenty min and it was perfect. Then we got to Fatephur Sikri and that’s where it all went down hill. First we were driven to a spot and told we have to take a rickshaw the rest of the way. It would cost 100 rupees for the two of us. He asked if it was ok- what were we supposed to do? So we said yes. Drove us not very far (def not worth 100 rupees round trip. Then we had to walk up a giant hill. Our “guide” had a motorbike and said he would meet us at the top. Then he handed us off to his brother who speaks English. He was awful. Every tour guide we have had in India has been helpful and reminded us not to engage with the hawkers. This guy literally brought us to every one and said this is my family or this is my friend - buy this. At one point I said no and he was like it’s for charity. If it’s not your heart then God will judge you. I don’t know need to be guilted by my guide that I’m paying good money for. It was so bad as he rushed us through the first part. We just ran around spot to spot. It was incredibly overwhelming and not what we were looking for. I was so upset I said I didn’t want to even see the second half and just wanted to go back and continue to Delhi. The driver was great and got us there safely and quickly. They need better guides.
