Il punto d'incontro è di fronte al Museo d'Arte Moderna, costruito dallo stesso architetto del Museo Nazionale di Antropologia.
Saliremo al Castello dove potremo apprezzare diversi scorci panoramici sulla Città e sulla Foresta. La guida ci racconterà la storia di questo edificio che esiste dal 18° secolo, visiteremo le sue stanze per osservare pezzi di diversi periodi della storia messicana, i mobili originali del 19° secolo, la squisita decorazione con giardini, fontane, marmo scale e vetrate...
Sulla strada per il Museo Nazionale di Antropologia costeggiamo il Lago Chapultepec, uno spazio ricreativo con noleggio di barche. Su una delle sponde sarà possibile vedere La Casa del Lago, un palazzo del 19° secolo. Lungo il percorso c'è la vendita di acqua, snack, panchine per il riposo, ecc.
Entreremo in uno dei musei più importanti del Messico e dell'America Latina, dove sono conservati alcuni dei pezzi archeologici più significativi delle culture preispaniche. La guida ci condurrà attraverso le sale del museo per apprezzare gli elementi più importanti e avere una panoramica generale di queste antiche civiltà. Conosceremo pezzi come la Pietra del Sole (calendario azteco), l'Atlantideo di Tula, la dea dell'acqua Chalchiuhtlicue, l'Acrobata, la maschera funeraria di Pakal; tra gli altri oggetti come gioielli, ceramiche, tombe, sculture, offerte, il gioco della palla e molto altro.

Learned a lot. Tour guide knew a lot of information. Loved the castle. But loved all the different groups that were displayed in the tour.
Ricardo was a brilliant tour guide, not to mention a trained historian. He brought Chapultepec castle and the Anthropology museum to life for our small group. He also took an interest in our interests, invited questions and answered them all, and was always patient and kind. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Amazing, informative tour. Ricardo was funny, personable, and insanely knowledgeable about the places and cultures we explored in the museums - had the answer to every question our group had! Great way to pack in two CDMX highlights, though you'll definitely want to budget time to visit the exhibits in the Anthro museum we just couldn't possibly cover. Considering this tour includes tickets to both attractions (otherwise ~$12 USD per place, $24 total per person), it was an excellent value choice. My friend and I had a lot of fun!

This tour is really thorough and I’d recommend it if you like history. If you don’t and or have kids with you this is probably not the tour for you. It is quite a bit of walking, as is everything in CDMX, so prepare for that. The tour guide was really knowledgeable. He made sure we had bathroom breaks and a break for a quick lunch in the middle.
Ricardo was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient with the group. He knew so much about the Castillo and museum of anthropology, truly captured the essence of the history and culture of the two locations.
