Il Bazar di Kruja è famoso per essere uno dei più antichi dell’Albania. La costruzione del bellissimo e affascinante mercato di Krujë risale a oltre 400 anni fa e fu il punto di partenza del libero scambio tra i commercianti più affermati della città. Fu in questo particolare bazar che i commercianti iniziarono per la prima volta a scambiare ufficialmente tra loro vari tipi di merci. Convenientemente situato sulla strada principale che porta al Castello di Kruja, lo spazio fa parte del museo pur servendo anche al suo tradizionale scopo commerciale.
Kruja è una delle città più menzionate nella storia albanese. Kruja si trova sul pendio del monte Kruja, ad un'altitudine di 608 m sopra il livello del mare. Il nome e l'importanza della città sono strettamente legati ai 25 anni di attività del nostro eroe nazionale, Skanderbeg, che nel XV secolo fece di Kruja un bastione di resistenza intransigente contro gli Ottomani. Kruja ha una lunga lista di attrazioni da offrire ai turisti, dall'antico castello incastonato tra le rocce scoscese, due musei, panorami mozzafiato, un vicino parco nazionale, templi sacri, sorgenti naturali, le antiche rovine della città di Albanopolis e il vecchio bazar. Il Museo Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg è situato all'interno delle mura del castello, che risalgono al V e VI secolo d.C. Il museo vero e proprio è stato inaugurato nel 1981. All'interno delle mura del castello si trovano anche il Museo Etnografico e il Dollma Tekke.
La moschea Sari Salltiku è una moschea nella città di Kruja. Fu costruito in onore di Sari Salltiku, che era un chierico della fede Bektashi. Si dice che Sari Salltiku abbia lasciato il segno a Kruja intorno al 1300. Amico del sultano Bayazit, era anche discepolo di Ahmed Jeseviut. L'impronta del santo si trova nella moschea all'ingresso di Kruja. Nel 1967, il regime comunista demolì questa moschea, insieme ad altri siti religiosi in tutta l’Albania. La Moschea Sari Salltiku è stata ricostruita nel 1991. La grotta sacra sul monte Kruja racchiude molti misteri. Le storie paranormali risalgono al 1325 quando Sari Salltiku arrivò dalla Turchia, inviato da Haxhi Bektesh Veliu, per praticare riti religiosi lontano dalla gente.

Fantastic day. Amazing guide Denisi who was full of great insights and information about Albanian history and culture.
We had a great trip to Kruja. Already in the car our guide Francis told us many interesting facts about Albania. In Kruja we had an interesting guided tour of the Skanderberg Museum and the castle . Afterwards there was still enough time to visit the old bazaar and have lunch. On the way back we were dropped off at the hotel. We really enjoyed the trip!!!
This tour was exceptional! Redi our tour guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable, informative and a great conversationalist. We only wish we had him everyday with us. The content of the tour was great A+. The optional house your is a don’t miss as well!
There wasn’t a whole lot to it. You just went up and supposedly looked at this castle. That’s not there anymore and went in a museum pretty views, but there wasn’t really a castle to look at. I had to do it over again. I would not do this.
It was canceled. I booked it the day before, when I showed up at the meeting point, they said they did not see the reservation and to request a refund!
Amazing guide - very well-versed in Albanian history. He made the whole Skanderberg Museum visit even more interesting because of the depth of the information he shared. The trip was the right length for a day trip - we visited a few key locations in Kruja.

This trip was awesome. Albania has a rich history and Kruja Museum is the best part of it. The tour guide is very friendly and knowledgeable. Its the best dily tour you can have from Tirana
Everything was taken care of. I really enjoyed not having to think at all and just listen about the rich history and be amazed at the views. 10/10 would recommend
