This is a good tour. Staff is very friendly and fun. Had a blast with this tour. Three hours tour is just perfect. Not too short or too long.
This Crab Island excursion was the best! Our guides were Rhett and Katie, and they were both awesome! One of our favorite adventures in Destin! Would absolutely do it again!
First time to destin and this was the best time we had. Katie was nice to talk to and Captain rhett got us where we needed to go. He needs to lose that Gulf of America(hate to even write that name) shirt tho.
Justin and Izzy were great! Such a fun and effortless adventure (even when my 2-year-old didn’t want to get in the water!). Still a super fun and family friendly activity and the lily pads that are included in the charter were a life saver for us. Highly recommend this charter.
Well planned, courteous staff. Friendly. Boat had plenty of items for us to use, including paddle boards, snorkels, noodles, football, volleyball, etc
It was a 10/10 experience! It was so much fun and the guides were so fantastic with even getting and and showing us the wild life!
We had an amazing trip to Crab Island with Captain Gene and his mate, Axel! From the moment we stepped on the boat, they brought incredible energy and made sure everyone was having a great time. They were always one step ahead—whether we needed a fresh drink, sunscreen, or a hand getting on and off the boat, they were there without us even having to ask. Their attentiveness and genuine care made the entire experience feel effortless and fun. Axel was especially awesome helping everyone who wanted to try paddleboarding. He took the time to make sure each person felt comfortable and was successful, and he interacted with every group on the boat, making everyone feel included. Captain Gene and Axel truly went above and beyond and were up for anything to make our day at Crab Island unforgettable. We can’t recommend them highly enough and would absolutely book another trip with them!
This was so much fun, our guides were awesome and the just ride was good
The tour guides were great, very friendly and offered to take plenty of pics and they attempted to do their best for us to have a good time. Unfortunately there was no fixing the fact that the water was more like lake water and looked like muddy old lake water at that. It was gross and definitely not what we expected. It was $150 for me and my husband to basically get a ride over to this area and use some floats. Three were boats you could purchase food and non alcoholic drinks from, because this is a non-alcoholic tour. All of them are, which is fine, but the let down of the water along with not actually catching or seeing crabs for that matter is misleading. I'm including a picture of the water. We were told the water is much bluer in the early early mornings, but if that's the case it shouldn't be advertised as all day enjoyment.
Hello, the water color is dependent on the tides. We include several different photos of the water colors, as it does change throughout the day. It’s not always the morning! Sometimes it is late afternoon. We cannot guarantee spottings of wild animals always, but we always try to find them! You can always give us a call if the water is the most important factor of your trip and we can direct you to the right time.
Captain Ritt and his girlfriend were fabulous! Every part was great. I do wish there were little individual rafts to float on and still be in the water, but the big rafts were great too. I only wish there weather was better and we didn’t have to go back early.
