Partenza a sud verso la città nabatea delle rose rosse di Petra, considerata una delle meraviglie del mondo. Una città a 139 miglia (225 chilometri) da Amman che fu scolpita nella pietra più di 2000 anni fa per dominare le rotte commerciali dell'antica Arabia. Visita le sue città, le dighe e i canali d'acqua e goditi una passeggiata lungo lo stretto siq, un sentiero che è l'ingresso principale della città. La prima cosa che vedrai è il Khazneh, che si credeva fosse un tomp per uno dei re nabatei. Vedrai anche altri monumenti come il Monastero e l'Altare del Sacrificio. Nel pomeriggio ti sposterai verso Wadi Rum, chiamata la valle della luna, dove è stato girato il film Lawrence d'Arabia e ultimamente Il marziano. Trascorrerai la notte in un accampamento beduino all'interno della riserva del Rum, in un luogo calmo e tranquillo davvero unico, mentre cenerai cucinato secondo lo stile beduino e le attività serali.
Dopo colazione farai una breve visita del Wadi Rum in una Jeep 4x4 (auto beduine locali). Il Wadi Rum è una montagna massiccia dalla forma unica che si ergeva tra la sabbia rossa rosata del deserto con scogliere imponenti di vari colori brunastri, rossastri e dorati, puoi fare il giro in cammello per un'ora dopo il tour in jeep, che sarà un extra caricare.

Our walking tour with Orwa was one of the absolute highlights of our time in Amman. It was such a blast to visit Jordan!!! Their hospitality is next level!!As a solo woman traveler, i feel extremely safe to be in Jordan and to be in this tour. The whole staff are extremely welcoming and helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my three day trip which had many highlights. I saw a lot of sights but never felt rushed, plus there was flexibility. The itinerary worked well with a variety of activities along the way. Moe was friendly, easy going, attentive & good company as a guide which made the trip seamless.

Really fortunate to have booked with Moe on this adventurous tour. There were many moving parts with all the activities, meals and accommodation coordination. Moe made everything stress free with great explanations before we started each day and executed very well as you could see he had done these tours many times. What we really liked was not having things over explained and having our hands held to much. Moe gave us the right amount of what we needed to know and then allowed us the time alone to discover and enjoy without hovering. The selection of hotels, restaurants and the wadi rum desert excursion provider were all great, and exceeded expectations. Especially the desert Bedouin camp manager, he was a comedian of sorts, always laughing and even upgraded us to a new geodesic dome tent. It was really spacious with a large window so we could see the desert moon at night and the sunrise behind the hills in the morning. We went from the Red Sea to the red desert making great friends with Moe and the operators he works with along the way. Was a very special three days and we feel we really got a lot more than our monies worth.

We booked this tour given the limited time we had and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. Moh'd Ibrahim (Moe) was on time to pick us up at the hotel and take us around all places. We had enough time to spend and we found Moe to be very helpful to cater to our needs and food restrictions. The accomodations we stayed at were fantastic and super comfortable. Wadi Rum safari experience was too good and everything was very well planned to efficiently make the most of available time. Dead sea experience too was incredible and mesmerizing. A big thanks to Moe for making this possible and for his services without which our entire trip couldn't have been this memorable.
