We had a wonderful one‑night stay on Amanda Luxury Cruises and it exceeded our expectations. The boat was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and felt very luxurious despite the short stay. Everything was well organised from start to finish. A special thank you to David, who hosted us so warmly and professionally. David was attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt genuinely welcome throughout the experience. It’s clear they take great pride in what they do, and it really showed. Highly recommend Amanda Luxury Cruises for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience — even for just one night.

We booked the 3 day/2 night cruise. Our experience on the Amanda boat called Halong Bay Dragon was very disappointing. The ship was run down, the food (other than the first meal) was low quality, the rooms were quite small, and the crew captain and head of activities lacked customer service skills. The first day we were taken to an overcrowded commercial facility for kayaking that belongs in Disneyland and then we were taken to an overcrowded cave where we waited on line for at least 40 minutes to enter the cave. Unbeknownst to us we were the only passengers booked for 2 nights. On our second day we were moved to a day cruise ship while the Dragon returned to the harbor to reload. The other ship called something like Sunny Cruises was great and we visited uncrowded areas to swim and boat. Then we unfortunately returned to the Amanda Dragon for our dinner and second night. There have got to be better choices to experience Halong Bay than the Amanda cruise line. For the price we paid, the value was very lacking.

There are certainly better tours in the beautiful Halong Bay. Posituv was certainly the very friendly staff. The buffet for lunch and brunch was good and at least in parts Vietnamese. Dinner was Western oriented (with mashed potatoes!), very bad (so it wasn't a pity that the portions were so small) and served extremely hectic. You had the impression that you wanted to dump everyone as soon as possible. The program was very minimalist, limited to what was necessary. There are definitely more interesting caves like the Hospital Cave. Due to the long tender boat service, the sailing time on the ship was also very short compared to other tours. Therefore not recommended.

I booked, paid & had confirmed an executive suite. I then changed it to a twin bed room. However, i was not reimbursed the difference in cost. You still owe me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if it was appearing as available on Viator, I received a message 2 hours after having paid telling me the tour was complete. I had to argue during 1 hour to receive a complete refund. Viator wanted only provide me a 50%. I had a similar experience just before also with Viator, and also concerning a Halong Bay tour. These tours on Halong Bay are not reliable.

I had a memorable 2 days 1 night trip with my girlfriend on the Journey Luxury cruise ship. Service is very good. Will recommend to acquaintances and friends. Special thanks to guide Son and Mai Anh for serving on the boat. Will be back soon.

This was an amazing experience. Definitely worth doing two nights as it gave us a chance to appreciate this wonderful scenery properly . The tour operator was so helpful and efficient with the transport, even delaying the return transfer 1 day for a stopover in the town

We spent 2 days & 1 night on the pinta with my husband and our 34 month old daughter Rose. Everything was perfect, Service, Cleanliness, Too Excellent Food, Kindness & Smiles of the crew & Captain. Rose loved this moment & so did we!! Visiting a magnificent cave, swimming in Halong Bay, fishing, walking in Kanöé (we even saw monkeys 🦍), cooking class, Thai Chi class really everything was there, perfect. The surprise for our 10 years of love was perfect, thank you for everything. We recommend 100%. Charlotte, Benoît & Rose
