Tour di 2 giorni dei laghi Kolsai Kaindy con Charyn Canyons

We are a group of 12 friends taking 3 days 2 nights tour with Axultan as our tour guide. We totally enjoyed the experience as Axultan is very knowledgeable, helpful and patient as we are senior citizens with 3 having knee issues. Axultan also helped us to take lovely photos. Accommodation at Kolsay Lake was lovely, 3rd day lunch was sumptuous. The pace of the tour was not too rush although the journey traveled could be tiring due to the long distance going back to Almaty. Would definitely recommend Kazakhstan Guided Tours and Axultan to people visiting Kazakhstan.

He did a great job of bringing a disparate group of travellers together to make the whole experience more enjoyable for everyone. Not to mention his singing, dancing and musical skills! The lakes and canyon are beautiful, lake Kaindy being particularly picturesque. A highly recommended tour.

The excursion was very varied and well organized. Our guide was very friendly, accommodating, and entertaining.

I really loved this 2-day tour! Everything was well organized and our guide Jan was very friendly and informative. For the Black and Moon Canyons we stopped for enough time to appreciate them and for the main spots we had a lot of free time so we could hike around and use it well. On the Kolsai Lake you could take the boats or just walk/sit around but we decided to hike all the way up to the end of the lake - recommend it! On the Kaindy Lake we took the horses on the way to the lake and walked back to appreciate the views and the nature. Also, it’s really worth climbing the viewpoint! The Charyn Canyon was absolutely beautiful! Very hot and the wind is no joke - I lost my hat 😅 On both days we stopped at the same lunchspot, the food was fine, they had a vegetarian option. The accomodation was really good, we could choose between yurt and a room. We booked a private room with a bathroom. The dinner and breakfast also had vegetarian options. After the dinner we went outside and sit around the campfire with other tourmates. I recommend wearing hiking shoes cause you’ll be waking a lot in different environments. Definitely use sun, wind and bugs protection! I highly recommend this tour!

my friends and i had the most fabulous time!! our guide Vlad was exceptional - very helpful, kind, full of energy and enthusiasm. we particularly loved the yurt stay and karaoke :)) so worth the money!

In early July, two Japanese couples participated. It was a really good tour. Our guide, Mr. Zhenis, was very kind and knowledgeable. Of course, the two lakes and Charyn Canyon were beautiful, but the mountain and river views in the morning when we stayed in the yurt were amazing. There were cute dogs, cows and horses. It was also great to interact with other participants. We don't speak much English, but everyone was still friendly. This is another big memory.

The two-day trip was wonderful and well-paced, neither too rushed nor too slow. Our guide Ax, who BTW is a trained mountaineer, was simply amazing with a great sense of humour and wonderful social skills. He is knowledgeable, well-informed, and considerate, and kept the entire group engaged and entertained (there was a karaoke, a bonfire, and even a dance!). Ax’s experience with trekking and hiking surely came in handy on the trip! The overnight Yurt camp stay in Kolsay was quite comfortable and a highlight in its own way. The camp and the surrounding area were beautiful with a mountain stream gushing close by. PSA: While many visitors do the day-trip version of this tour, the two-day itinerary is optimal and efficient. And Kazakhstan Guided Tours are a top choice for it. Highly recommended.
