Alex was a very attentive and knowledgeable guide with a deep love for Santiago's cuisine. He was great at telling us what to expect and presenting the information in chapters set appropriately at the three tapas places he took us to. We loved that he took us to places where the locals go and told us about the wine regions of Spain. Everything was tasty but the red wine at the last wine bar and the mussels were exceptionally good. Even though it was a small group of just 3 people that night, he gave it all to make sure we were pleased. The chestnut shop at the end was such a lovely touch. Thanks, Alex!

Great variety of tapas and experience. Generous with the drinks, but the best part of the whole tour was Alex himself. Super friendly, great engagement with the group, very interesting and informative. It was an incredibly enjoyable evening and I would highly recommend it.

Alex is so passionate about Santiago and it shows on his tour. It is a great way to learn more about the Galician food and get to learn more about the city from a local. As always the food was delicious. By taking this tour you are also supporting Alex who is a local entrepreneur who started this tour 6 years ago when he saw the need for this in his city.

we had a terrific time with Alex. the food was great. the wine was great and all his stories were great. and after the tour was over he took us to some live music at a small bar that we really enjoyed

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Tapas & Wine Experience in Santiago! We had such a wonderful time on our tapas and wine tour in Santiago! From the very beginning, our guide was incredibly kind and accommodating. I especially want to apologize again for being late — he was so patient and went out of his way to wait for us and make sure we could still enjoy and complete the tour. We truly appreciated his understanding and flexibility. Alex was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Galicia. What made the experience really special was the way he shared not only his knowledge of the local wines and tapas, but also the stories, traditions, and culture behind them. We got to experience Santiago and Galician food and wine in a much more authentic and personal way. It felt less like a typical tourist tour and more like spending an afternoon with a local friend who genuinely loves his city and wants you to experience it the way locals do. We laughed, tasted wonderful food and wine, learned so much, and had a fantastic time. It was definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Santiago. One of the best experiences - do not hesitate to book this as part of your visit to Santiago de Compostela. Brilliant night with our tour guide Alex who guided us around lovely authentic tapas & wine bars. Alex was friendly and knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcome and relaxed. A great activity if you are a lone traveler to get to know the best places in Santiago. The last bar was the highlight of the evening with music, laughter and a feeling of true Galcian experience. Would recommend booking this for your 1st evening in this city as returned to 2 of the places the next day to eat and drink with confidence we would be welcomed in and provide exceptional service.

Food was poor albeit not expensive and guide was quite negative about tourists. But the music he took us to which wasn’t part of the tour was fantastic.
