In questo tour camminerete, insieme a una guida locale, nel quartiere di "La Latina" per scoprire la sua storia attraverso alcune delle taverne più autentiche che ancora restano a Madrid. Il nostro obiettivo è che avete la possibilità di giocare a essere locali mentre degustate la gastronomia locale. Per questo vi invitiamo a percorrere insieme a noi le strade di questo quartiere così emblematico. Così potrete conoscere la nostra cultura, i suoi costumi e i suoi detti e sperimentare la vera magia che è vivere in questa grande città. Itinerario
All'inizio del tour parleremo un po' della storia di Madrid, di cos'è la Madrid degli Austriaci e di come la storia ha influenzato il cibo locale. Il nostro obiettivo è far loro conoscere una Madrid autentica, una Madrid locale.
Il quartiere "La Latina", un quartiere tradizionale, oggi ospita molto turismo ma se sai cercare puoi trovare i posti migliori. Taverne tradizionali dove provare le tapas più tipiche di questa città. Faremo soste in diversi luoghi per assaggiare la cucina locale.
Il "Mercado de San Miguel" è il mercato più famoso che si trova oggi a Madrid. La sua visita è assolutamente da vedere se è la prima volta in questa città. E se già lo conosci, non fa mai male visitarlo di nuovo.
Durante il nostro tour faremo una sosta a Plaza Mayor. La piazza più emblematica di Madrid. Qui parleremo un po’ dell’importanza di questa piazza per la città e la sua storia.
Il nostro ultimo ristorante si trova in Ricamatrici Street, molto vicino a Plaza Mayor. Lì assaggeremo le ultime tapas che abbiamo selezionato per questo tour e alla partenza concluderemo il tour.

Very interesting combination of history of the buildings and community plus fun tasting of tapas wine, sangria and vermouth cocktail Fantastic guide with great knowledge, style and English capability. A fun time and nice walk.

Our guide Maya did an amazing job. The first stop on the trip The family restaurant Casa Paco was not a good experience, the staff did not greet and it seemed almost as if they had forgotten we came, we were served red wine in wet glasses that were not washed off properly. The other 3 stops on the trip were ok

This was a super fun food tour. Our guide, Maya, was very knowledgeable about the food we tasted and how it is prepared. She knew about the history of the area and the buildings. There were 3 different food and wine stops and each was very different, but very good. We enjoyed the walk through some neighborhoods we had not been before. The tapas all were so good, as well as the wines. We were able to taste the Spanish vermut, which was very different for us. A super nice evening with good food and a very good guide.

This was hands down one of the best experiences I had in Madrid. The food was absolutely incredible, and Maia’s passion for Spanish cuisine made it even more enjoyable. We visited local spots I would’ve never found on my own, and the service throughout the tour was top-notch — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
