Castillo de San Marcos sorge fiero lungo la costa di Sant'Agostino. Le sue spesse pareti grigie di coquina formano una caratteristica forma a stella, con bastioni angolati che si protendono verso la baia. Torri di guardia e vecchi cannoni costeggiano i bastioni. La pietra grezza del forte contrasta con le acque scintillanti della baia di Matanzas, dove il suo riflesso danza nelle giornate calme. Alle sue spalle, fa capolino l’affascinante skyline di Sant’Agostino, con tetti rossi e guglie lontane. La scena è una sorprendente miscela di storia, architettura e bellezza costiera.
Il faro di St. Augustine si erge alto e colpisce contro il cielo. Le sue strisce a spirale in bianco e nero avvolgono la torre, sormontata da una lanterna rossa che brilla alla luce del sole. Circondato da alberi, il faro sorge sopra la chioma verde dell'isola di Anastasia. Nelle vicinanze, le case dei guardiani dal tetto rosso accennano alla lunga storia marittima del sito. Il Ponte dei Leoni è un grazioso collegamento tra il quartiere storico di Sant’Agostino e l’isola di Anastasia. Il suo design Beaux-Arts presenta due imponenti statue di leone appollaiate alle due estremità, che simboleggiano il legame della città sia con la Spagna che con la sua storia marittima. Il ponte decorato si arcua sull'acqua, con la sua lavorazione in ferro blu-verdastro e le eleganti curve che si stagliano contro lo skyline. Mentre le barche passano sotto il ponte, sono visibili gli intricati dettagli della sua struttura, come le ringhiere decorative e i suoi imponenti pilastri. La vista è particolarmente splendida al tramonto quando la luce si riflette sulla baia di Matanzas, gettando il ponte in un bagliore caldo.

This was such a great way to get into the Christmas season! The lights were great, the Christmas music added to the experience, and our guide was friendly and accommodating.
Boat ride was lots of fun and did not have to deal with car traffic to see the lights. The lights reflected off the water and made the pictures even better.

Boat is open, seats are uncomfortable with no cushion Getting to it can be confusing. The day we went was very cold around 35 degrees. They have blankets for sale at $30 so bring one
Hello, Carmen. We regret that you had anything less than an excellent time with us out on the water as it is our goal to show everyone a fun time. Northern Florida does get some cold temperatures. We currently have blankets for sale at $12 a piece. We hope you enjoyed the beautiful display of Christmas lights! We hope to have you back in warmer weather!
Peaceful boat ride to see the lighthouse, cross, fort, and lights. Alcohol included is a plus. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We took the champagne sunset night of lights cruise and it was absolutely amazing . I would absolutely recommend it . Such a great price too! The captain and first mate were the best . Would reccomend to anyone wanting a perfect night!
When another boat company overbooked their tour, Captain James and Olivia of Fury absolutely saved the day. Not only did they accept a very last minute reservation, but they also created a fun and festive experience my kids will never forget. Our party of seven loved every minute of their Nights of Lights tour. Thank you guys so much for an unforgettable evening.

Best way to see the Nights of Lights without fighting the crowd. Beautiful sunset too. Highly recommend

WASTED OUR WHOLE NIGHT FOR NOTHING. We arrived early and followed the directions down the bluebird dock, we found a pitch dark dock with no lights, no boats, no signage to tell us we were in the right place. We talked with someone who said the "Fury" was the next dock over, so we walk over there and find a Fury boat tours sign, and talk with another boat captain there who says we are in the right place - Yay, good thing we arrived early, right?! So we wait until our time and stand in line. FOR 45 MINUTES. Then they tell us we are in line for the wrong boat, that there is a SECOND FURY BOAT over at the FIRST spot we went, where there was NO sign?? (WHY did they not at least try to call us??) We run back over and our boat has apparently already left. We talked with the captain on the boat that arrived after ours left, who said this happens ALL THE TIME. It was our last night in town so we couldn't reschedule, I immediately called Viator to explain and nicely asked for a refund, which they DENIED. Now I have to go dispute this with my CC company to get our money back for this cruise that we DID NOT GO ON, despite the fact that we were AN HOUR EARLY, due to their total lack of signange in the right place and ZERO communication with us on the night of our booking. HOW HARD IS IT TO CALL US. AT LEAST PUT OUT A SIGN.
