Angkor Wat è un tempio in Cambogia ed è il più grande monumento religioso del mondo. Originariamente costruito come tempio indù dedicato al dio Vishnu per l'Impero Khmer dal re Suryavarman II nel XII secolo, fu gradualmente trasformato in tempio buddista e alla fine del secolo; come tale, è anche descritto come un "indù-buddista"
La Porta Sud di Angkor Thom è il tempio più famoso del Parco Archeologico di Angkor e da non perdere. Situato vicino a Baksei Chamkrong ma puoi ancora guidarlo o attraversarlo a piedi.
Bayon è un bellissimo tempio legato al buddismo ad Angkor in Cambogia. Costruito alla fine del XII o all'inizio del XIII secolo come tempio di stato del re Jayavarman VII. Bayon si trova nel centro di Angkor Thom.
Thommanon è uno dei templi indù costruiti durante il regno di Suryavarman II ad Angkor, in Cambogia. Questo bellissimo tempietto si trova a est della Porta di Angkor Thom e a nord del tempio di Chau Say Tevoda.
Ta Prohm (Tempio della giungla) è il famoso "Tempio di Tomb Raider" utilizzato nel film di Angelina Jolie. C'è un albero straordinario che cresce in cima a un tempio. Non perderti questo tempio.
Banteay Kdei è un tempio buddista ad Angkor, in Cambogia. Si trova a sud-est di Ta Prohm e ad est di Angkor Thom. è nello stile dell'architettura Bayon, come i progetti di Ta Prohm e Preah Khan, ma è sempre più piccola. Le radici degli alberi a Banteay Kdei sono assolutamente enormi e stanno prendendo il controllo degli edifici.
Il tempio Ta Keo è un suggestivo tempio in stile montano nel complesso di Angkor, costruito tra la fine del X e l'inizio dell'XI secolo durante il regno di re Jayavarman V. Dedicato al dio indù Shiva, è famoso per i suoi massicci blocchi di arenaria e le pareti quasi completamente non decorate, che gli conferiscono un aspetto potente e incompiuto. I visitatori possono salire i ripidi gradini fino alla cima per una vista panoramica sulla giungla circostante e sui vicini templi di Angkor, rendendola una tappa preferita per i viaggiatori amanti dell'avventura.

I had a really good time on this tour. Angkor Wat looked amazing, especially in the morning when it was calm and less crowded. Ta Prohm felt very unique with the big trees around the ruins, giving it a natural and peaceful vibe. The whole trip was well organized and everything went smoothly. It was a very nice and relaxing experience.

This tour turned out to be one of the best parts of my trip. Seeing Angkor Wat up close was incredible, especially in the calm of the morning, and Ta Prohm had such a unique, almost mysterious vibe with nature taking over the ruins. We recently enjoyed a wonderful Angkor Wat tour with our guide Longdy.
