We had a fantastic time; this family visit to the Chandon winery was very entertaining. It was very interesting to learn about the champagne-making process and to experience a delicious wine tasting at the end. The only downside was the treatment from one of the girls in the store who, when my daughters were trying on some sweatshirts (we wanted to buy 4), suggested they go to the tasting and come back to buy later; well, with that, they lost $200 from that purchase.
The experience is good, but it is not comparable to other experiences that we do here in Brazil, in Serra Gaúcha, such as Garibaldi, Salton, Casa Perini, Valduga, Miolo etc. In these, in addition to the tasting contain several internationally awarded labels, still usually have a board of accompanying and normally we can still carry a souvenir cup. Already at Chandon Mendoza, we were given only 3 spumants in the tasting, cake of water and salt, plus a tour and a very succinct explanation by the property. They need to come to Brazil and learn how to make a tasting more at the height of the brand. I repeat, it wasn't bad, but pretty basic.
The place is very nice and organized, with impeccable service. All Chandon staff are extremely polite and friendly.
Very cheerful, we tasted and bought wonderful sparkling! These sparkling, qua I find difficult to find in Brazil and when we find are with absurd values. We ran into the Chandon cellar. I think we will exceed the weight of the luggage!!! Kkkkk....
