This Company really lives up to its reputation for being friendly, authentic, and locally run. From the moment we booked, the service was exceptional with quick communication and thoughtful support when our train to the pick up point was cancelled. The tour was professional, super comfortable and gave us plenty of time to explore the beautiful villages and enjoy a cream tea! A special mention goes to our wonderful guide Steve, who was knowledgeable, engaging and genuinely passionate about the area. He went above and beyond even offering to return to the drop off point for a forgotten bag and helping other guests in the rain. Without doubt, one of the best tours I’ve ever taken.
The tour guide was a very kind and friendly man. He introduced the history in an engaging and humorous way, while also taking great care of everyone’s needs. I felt very comfortable throughout the tour and had a truly wonderful experience. I really appreciated his professionalism and kindness, and I would highly recommend this tour to others.
My original tour was cancelled, but given my time constraints, I was offered a spot on this small group tour instead — and I'm so glad it worked out that way. We travelled in a comfortable 16-seater bus, small enough to easily navigate the narrow, one-way country lanes of the Cotswolds, with Dave as our driver and guide. Dave was brilliant — knowledgeable, happy to answer any and every question thrown at him, and clearly passionate about the Cotswolds. One especially nice touch was that he adjusted our itinerary so we arrived at Bourton-on-the-Water early in the morning, before it filled up with other tourists — a small change that made a big difference. The pace throughout the day was just right, giving us plenty of time to take in the scenery and soak up the atmosphere of each town without ever feeling rushed. A brilliant tour, and a real silver lining after my original plans fell through. Highly recommend, and particular thanks to Dave for making it such an enjoyable day.

If you’re considering a day tour of the Cotswolds, stop looking and book with Go Cotswolds. My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful day exploring one of the most beautiful regions of England. Our itinerary included Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury, Snowshill, Chipping Campden, and the breathtaking views from Dover’s Hill. Every stop had its own unique character—from charming villages and historic streets to stunning countryside that looked like something out of a storybook. We never felt rushed, and the pacing of the day was perfect. What truly made this tour exceptional, however, was our guide, Stephen. He grew up in the Cotswolds, and that lifelong connection shines through in everything he does. His passion for the area is contagious, and his knowledge goes far beyond dates and facts.
