La Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, situata a Roma, è una delle quattro basiliche papali e la più importante dedicata alla Vergine Maria. Fondata nel V secolo, è celebre per i suoi splendidi mosaici paleocristiani, il soffitto a cassettoni dorato e la maestosa navata centrale. Secondo la tradizione, fu costruita dopo un’apparizione miracolosa della Madonna, che indicò il luogo con una nevicata estiva sul colle Esquilino. La Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano è la cattedrale di Roma e la più antica delle quattro basiliche papali. Fondata nel IV secolo da Costantino, è considerata la "madre di tutte le chiese del mondo". Situata sul colle Laterano, fu per secoli la residenza dei papi. La basilica è famosa per la sua imponente facciata barocca, il ricco interno decorato da grandi artisti e le statue monumentali degli Apostoli. Ospita anche il trono papale, simbolo dell'autorità del Papa come vescovo di Roma.
La Basilica di San Paolo fuori le Mura, situata lungo la Via Ostiense a Roma, è una delle quattro basiliche papali e sorge sul luogo dove fu sepolto l’apostolo Paolo. Fondata nel IV secolo dall’imperatore Costantino, fu ricostruita dopo un incendio nel 1823, mantenendo lo stile grandioso paleocristiano. L’interno è caratterizzato da una vasta navata con colonnati imponenti e da splendidi mosaici absidali. Una particolarità della basilica è la serie di medaglioni con i ritratti di tutti i papi, da San Pietro all’attuale pontefice. È un luogo di grande spiritualità e meta di pellegrinaggi.

Max, our driver, and Michaela, our guide were absolutely wonderful! Michaela is very knowledgeable and explains the history in a relatable way. Perfecto!! Dina was hands down one of the best tour guides and Roberto was an excellent driver. I am still trying for figure out words for just how wonderful this experience was. My husband and I had a wonderful and memorable tour of all four Basilicas in Rome. Dina and Stefano gave us a private tour and worked very well together. My husband and I wanted to concentrate on more of a faith based tour and we certainly received it by being able to attend mass, receive holy communion and pray as much as we wanted at each church. Dina was extremely professional and very flexible and cater to our interests. She also gave us a very in-depth history of each Basilica and the detailed background of the churches.
