Un tour a becco di scarpa è unico perché ti dà la rara possibilità di vedere uno degli uccelli più insoliti e ricercati dell'Africa nel suo habitat naturale paludoso. Alcuni dei punti salienti includono: * Vedere un uccello raro: il becco di scarpa è uno degli uccelli più rari al mondo e si trova solo in pochi paesi dell’Africa orientale e centrale. * Il suo aspetto preistorico: con il suo enorme becco a forma di scarpa, gli occhi penetranti e l'altezza imponente (fino a circa 1,5 metri), sembra quasi un dinosauro. * Straordinario comportamento di caccia: i becchi delle scarpe rimangono perfettamente fermi per lunghi periodi prima di colpire improvvisamente pesci, rane o giovani rettili con incredibile velocità. * Esperienza tranquilla in zona umida : I tour vengono solitamente condotti in canoe tranquille o piccole imbarcazioni attraverso paludi di papiro, rendendo il viaggio rilassante e ottimo per gli amanti della natura. * Fotografia eccellente : la luce del mattino presto, l'acqua calma e gli incontri ravvicinati rendono i tour con le scarpe popolari tra i fotografi.
