Partendo dal cuore di Union Square, l'autobus si dirige verso il Golden Gate Bridge. Sulla strada per il Golden Gate Bridge, i viaggiatori vedranno: Union Square: teatri, negozi, hotel
Ci dirigiamo verso nord su Van Ness Avenue. Famoso per essere stato usato come un incendio, dall'esercito americano durante il terremoto e il fuoco del 1906.
Due quartieri ricchi, che attirano giovani professionisti. Boutique alla moda chic, studi Pilates, negozi di succhi di frutta, saloni di bellezza. Molti ristoranti raffinati che vanno dai bistrot francesi alla cucina fusion americana.
Progettato da Bernard Maybeck per la Worlds Fair del 1915. Questa rotonda rotonda alta 162 piedi appare come una rovina immaginaria di ispirazione greco-romana. Scendi dall'autobus ed esplora la struttura e la laguna.
Fermati al Golden Gate Bridge per goderti una vista panoramica mozzafiato su questo iconico punto di riferimento. Cattura foto memorabili di questa meraviglia ingegneristica e goditi la fresca brezza costiera.
Ex fortezza militare dell'esercito americano, parco di 1500 acri. Casa per; Baker Beach, escursioni, edifici storici ospitano il Walt Disney Family Museum, ristoranti, case e attività commerciali come Lucasfilm, con la sua fontana Yoda.
Bellissima fermata costiera a Ocean Beach con scogliere frastagliate, foresta di cipressi e vista sul Golden Gate Bridge, sull'Oceano Pacifico, sulle rovine del bagno Sutro e sulla Cliff House.
Entrando nel Golden Gate Park da ovest passiamo da uno dei due mulini a vento olandesi. Percorrendo il parco l'autista indicherà tutti i punti di interesse; Bison Paddock, Japanese Tea Gardens, California Academy of Science, Conservatorio di fiori.
I viaggiatori vedranno dove è iniziato il movimento Hippie durante l'Estate dell'amore. Negozi insoliti, ristoranti unici e spettacoli dal vivo.
Due picchi identici danno il nome a questa attrazione. Una delle vette più alte della città, avrai una vista mozzafiato a 360 gradi su tutta la città
Scendendo verso Market Street, entriamo nel distretto di Castro. Tutti sono i benvenuti e al sicuro in questa comunità LGBT!
Questa via principale a San Francisco. Guidiamo verso est da Castro verso il Ferry Building e il centro finanziario del centro.
Tra i grattacieli che dominano lo skyline (Transamerica Pyramid, Salesforce Tower), ci sono molti business tecnologici e aziende Fortune 500.
Passando sotto le "Porte del Drago" di Chinatown, il viaggiatore entra in un vivace quartiere commerciale pieno di colori.
Non sbattere le palpebre, il passaggio da Chinatown a North Beach è senza soluzione di continuità. Questa rapida transizione ci offre la vista e gli aromi della "Piccola Italia" di San Francisco.

The bus does not pick up at the address that is listed. We stood there 20 minutes before pick up time and the bus never indicated that it was down the street. We were Never told what type of bus would pick us up. The bus driver never tried to see if we were there even though they knew to expect us, since we paid way over $100 for the trip. This appears to be a money grab. We called the office and a very rude rep told us it was our fault.
The tour was curtailed and modified due to the Marathon. Cutting out a proper visit to Golden gate bridge and park and some other points was a big disappointment. If we were informed of this at the time of booking, we would have chosen a different date to get the full experience. We felt cheated because neither Viator or the tour operator informed us of the restrictions and changes at the time of booking. There was also a change in the pickup spot and we paid for the Uber to get to the new spot in time. Overall this was the worst Viator experience of our many Viator purchases over the years, at least 4 of which were SFO city tours. Giving 3 stars as the other points were still ok. This had experience was entirely preventable if Viator and the tour operator were diligent and better customer oriented.

An excellent day tour experience with Gray Line. The service was professional and very well organized from start to finish. The tour is good but a bit disorganised. Meeting point there were 2 buses and we did not know which one was ours. San Francisco weather is very foggy and clouded in the mornings until midday, so many of the places we went we were not able to see a lot. I would have loved to see more of the beautiful houses and less of the hills outside. The guide was good but a bit repetitive. I would have started with a bit of history about San Francisco. The minibus was not the perfect one for sightseeing, as it was difficult to see many things the guide pointed out to.

Michele was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the city’s history. Tour is pretty much as advertised and we had sufficient time at each stop for pictures and bathroom breaks. Great value for the price and worthy of a fair tip at the end.

This was a great tour. Saw things I missed on the Red Bus Tour. Comfortable bus, most stops had bathrooms. Guide was very knowledgeable. Golden Gate Park and North Beach were very enjoyable as was the entire tour.
