What a fantastic experience!! JJ worked with us booking each excursion we went on, and it was an absolute pleasure working with him. He made sure all of our needs were met, and was extremely helpful with any questions or accommodations we had! The tour was incredible, and the stop at the chocolate and coffee plantation was fascinating! The waterfall we stopped at prior to the plantations was absolutely breathtaking. Our walk through the rainforest reserve was pretty neat, and we saw several frogs, bats, sloths, and beautiful vegetation! Unfortunately, we didn't get to see a ton of other wildlife due to the weather conditions at the time, but that's okay.
JJ was awesome with helping us book all the different things we did and we had a wonderful time on each adventure. We didn’t see quite as much wildlife on the rainforest tour but it probably just wasn’t the greatest conditions for things to come out. But we loved our trip and the adventures added so many memories!
The tour was awesome all of the guides explained culture and were subject mayter experts. Eduardo from the sanctuary hade the eyes of a hawk pointing out animals, birds and fauna. Fernando and carlos. our guide and driver were more than hospitable and explained everything clearly and were very personable. I would reccomend these two for any excursion
Carlos helped plan and arrange everything, he is the BEST!! Tours are kept small which makes it a more pleasureable experience. The guides and driver are very knowledgeable about the area and can answer all your questions.
First of all, JJ, located in the lobby at our resort (Occidental) helped us book 2 tours and charter a fishing boat. He also booked my parents’ airport transport. He was always willing & able to offer advice on exploring in our rental car and was great with recommendations!!! Ricardo, our private tour guide on 2 tours was AMAZING. We bonded with him immediately.
We had the best guide, Franando! And JJ was very professional while booking the excursion. Giving us the option of private or group tour.
Very good tour! I am glad JJ helped us out with this tour. He made an excellent suggestion. We loved all the interesting facts that our guide gave us. We had an excellent lunch and the tours to all the places were informative. Everyone was so nice. Our guide even let us stop to do a little shopping.
Everton (Ever) and Lisa had a wonderful time with Larry on two separate tours. It is his knowledge, experience and passion that made this experience unique and memorable! We will return in hopes to have him as our guide again!
We chose to do this excursion on a Sunday and it was the perfect choice! JJ told us we wouldn’t be sorry and we weren’t. We saw sloths, frogs and a copper in the rainforest. It wasn’t a bad walk at all. Anya, our local guide, had the eyes of an eagle. Abraham, our guide for the day, was very knowledgeable and patient. We learned so much. The lunch was delicious although the portions were huge! We saw the waterfalls and crossed long suspension bridges in the rain to do it. It was scary but never felt unsafe. The hot springs were a perfect way to end a perfect day. Much thanks to Martin, our driver. Everyone, from beginning to end, was great.
We had a great top on the volcano and river cruise. Defiantly worth the experience.
