Itinerario

Panos was a fascinating tour guide with so much knowledge both of the ancient philosophy and politics that the tour was about and the philosophical and scientific discoveries of the modern age that helped prove these ancient concepts. It’s a tour that works for those who are relative novices to Ancient Athens and those with knowledge of the subject matter already. Panos’ enthusiasm comes through and he delivers his material clearly and in a way that holds your attention. The walk was at a steady pace with plenty of stops in the shade to avoid as much sun as possible, and he constantly checked in with group members to see how they were doing with the heat and terrain.
Panos was an extremely intelligent and knowledgeable guide. He was very attentive and engaging. He truly has a passion for democracy and philosophy. I felt very inspired and want to continue studying Greek ancient history. Highly recommend this tour.
This tour is a must when visiting Athens. There was much relevant information that Panos, our terrific tour guide, was sharing with regards to how the history of Greece resembles what we are seeing in current times. There were several great stops along the way that provided beautiful pictures to take, and Panos was kind enough to offer to take the pictures. There was a break about half way in to use the restroom and get some coffee, drinks, or ice cream! Thank you Panos for one of the best tours I have taken!

Panos was amazing! He’s very knowledgeable, insightful, and passionate about what he does. Even my teenage nieces appreciated this tour. He also handled a disgruntled customer as best he could, in a professional manner. Would recommend this tour!
Tour guide left me & another woman behind. He did not announce that the group was leaving, & he left us alone on top of a hill & went down a path that split ways, we had no idea or way of knowing which way he had gone with the group. When we did find him he would not apologize & said “I did nothing wrong.” He was extremely disrespectful & rude. Panos was the name of this terrible tour guide. We were less than 5 minutes taking photos I had asked if we could take & he had said yes. He then lied saying that he no obligation to not deliberately leave me behind.
Amazing guide. Phenomenal tour. Best tour I did in Athens!
Best guide ever! Thoughtful erudite and entertaining.
Hello Lisa, glad to hear from you, thanks for your comment! My best regards!
Our guide, Panos was so knowledgeable, a great story teller and had a sense of humor. It doesn’t get better than that. I learned so much about Athens history and met cool people. It was also good exercise - not strenuous but I recommend wearing good walking shoes.
Hello, thank you for your kind words! My best regards!
The best tour of Athens! We went on this tour with our teenage son who also agreed it was the best tour we had in the city. Panos is a fantastic teacher of history and philosophy. A story teller who is very engaging and humorous. Stimulated great conversations
Hi Kathleen, wow, glad to hear that you all liked it! My best regards!
