Questa avventura inizia nel centro storico della città, dove avremo il nostro punto d'incontro e verremo a prendervi in una delle nostre unità. Per la nostra prima esperienza, ci dirigeremo a Santiago Matatlán, la capitale mondiale del Mezcal. Qui farai parte del processo di preparazione del mezcal. Taglierai l'agave, proverai il maguey cotto, impacchetterai la tua bottiglia e conoscerai il nostro vino fatto con mezcal stagionati. Ma la cosa più incredibile sta arrivando, ed è la nostra degustazione di più di 12 diversi Mezcal. Ti è piaciuto qualcuno di loro? Possiamo riprovare. E infine, visiteremo i campi di Maguey dove scopriremo perché è una pianta così nobile. Tu prenditi cura di divertirti e scattare foto, perché noi ti insegneremo e ti divertiremo.

Tour del giardino dell'agave mezcal, spiegazione e partecipazione al processo di produzione del mezcal artigianale e confezionamento, visita guidata alle cantine di maturazione del mezcal in caraffe di vetro, riposo e invecchiamento del mezcal in botti.
Degustazione di vari mezcal artigianali (giovani, reposado, tagliati a cubetti, invecchiati, assemblati, selvatici, distillati con, maturati con). Ti guideremo su come degustare un mezcal, le categorie, la diversità delle agavi, le classi, la denominazione di origine, i processi e le caratteristiche organolettiche del mezcal.
Tour a bordo di un carro a forma di botte lungo le strade maguey di Santiago Matatlán, rituali con mezcal in una piantagione di maguey, visita ad una pulquería con degustazione di pulque, salumi, aguamiel e tepache.

Very good tour of the mezcaleria guided by ricordo very good operator and final in the mezcaleria itself gave us an explanation of the elaboration very good
Great and informative tour from start to finish. We got a full look at the artisanal mezcal-making process, from the agave fields all the way to distillation and bottling. The tasting was a highlight, with a wide variety of mezcals to try, and making our own cocktail at the end was a fun touch. The guides were warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive throughout the experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oaxaca.
I would highly recommend this tour. Very informative and well run. The team at the distillery are very welcoming and polite. You get to truly understand the culture process and meaning behind Mezcal and try a variety of their products. Special shout out to Maryori for being such a wonderful guide and making the experience unforgettable. Definitely something to do while in Oaxaca.
I enjoy mezcal tasting, but never knew how it was made. This was a great tour that explains the process from start to finish, and explains the different types of mezcal. A special treat was a ride into the fields to see the cultivated agave being grown and harvested. We also visited a pulqueria to taste agua de miel, pulque and tepache. I would highly recommend this tour.
Do not miss this experience, very complete, fun and very well explained by Ricardo, our guide. I highly recommend it. It was best to decant the mezcal between agaves.

The tour was excellent, Maryori is a brilliant tour guide. We learnt the history of mezcal and got to try a lot of samples, the mobile barrel was really fun. Definitely recommend!
It was a very enriching experience from the cultural point of view and family coexistence. I attended with my two children, 19 and 21. Our guide made the tour very enjoyable and additionally provided data that complemented the knowledge of the process to produce both artisanal and ancestral mezcal. We walked the process and had the opportunity to ask questions and try different types of mezcals, from the sprat that is the most common to the one aged for three years in oak barrels. During the tour in the planting fields, we had a bilingual guide that complemented the information. We stopped at a house to taste mead, pulche and tepache. In conclusion, highly recommended

We were given an excellent pick-up service from our hostel and taken out of town to a Mezcal distillery. The day out at the distillery and then the Agave fields was so much fun, as we were taken on an old barrell bus and provided with more than enough Mezcal for one day! This is a really great tour to pick and you definitely get a lot of bang for you buck compared to other more popular tours with tourists. Easily one of the most fun days we have had in Mexico 🇲🇽 😀
