Il successore dell'ex "Senato" fu inaugurato il 17 ottobre 1892. Questo edificio, costruito in stile rinascimentale italiano, fu opera dell'architetto dipartimentale Auguste-Vincent (1845-1903).
Il palazzo della prefettura di Nizza, situato nella Vecchia Nizza, è attualmente la sede della prefettura delle Alpi Marittime e la residenza del prefetto. Fino all'annessione della contea di Nizza alla Francia nel 1860, l'edificio fu residenza reale dei re di Piemonte-Sardegna.

Me and my 2 best friends took a cruise and Nice was our 2nd stop of the trip. We wanted to go shopping but were unsure where to go and were looking for a taxi. Michael, with “Bicycle” offered us a ride for all 3 of us and said if we didn’t like our ride he wouldn’t charge us. We took him up on his offer and from the first turn we knew we had made a great decision. We ended up meeting with one of his co- workers, Igor, and we decided to book both of them since the cart really only has room for 2 people. It was totally the best way to see the town and we had a blast!!! The guides were amazing and we felt safe snd protected,Not only did we get to see Old Town, we stopped and shopped along the way. We stopped and bought a bottle of wine while we rode around. We later stopped and enjoyed an espresso. The whole tour we had curbside service to whatever we wanted to see. Not only did they pamper us, they would take pictures for us during our tour. Over the course of the ride we learned about each other and felt like we had known them for more than just a few hours. I highly recommended them, they were professional, kind, and went above and beyond our expectations.
It’s a quick trip to see the sites! You can add time if you’re enjoying yourself! It’s a great chance to take photos and learn the history of Nice! Ask for Igor! It also tells you where you want to go back to and spend more time!
The city tour with the velo-taxi (1 hour) was very comfortable and very good. Our driver, Reza, was very helpful, polite, and competent. He provided us with a lot of information about the city and its history. I recommend such a rickshaw ride to every visitor of Nice, especially as it is comfortable in great heat. You should ask for the driver Reza.
We loved this experience! We saw Nice in a way we would never have been able to by car or by foot! Our guide was funny, knowledgeable and just an overall great local guy.

We booked tour for overview of area and to familiarize ourselves to area before finding the start of a walking tour the next morning. Electric bicycle with driver. Room for 2 adults. Driver took us to major sites. We booked the 40min ride was offered additional time, which we declined as the 40 min was satisfactory for our needs.
Excellent way to view cities and easy access to hearing guide. Bubble covers you so no worry about inclement weather..
We were picked up in our hotel. Our guide told us that it is only 40 minutes for the tour, we have to add more money if we want more time to see Nice, this started our experience getting sour, nevertheless we went for extra 30 minutes. The tour operator should just have option in this site if we want 1 hour, 2 hours , 3hours, 4 hours instead of being offered during the actual tour. I did appreciate the sites but the experience left us with a bad taste

Wonderful way to see Nice! Reza was the perfect guide - he shared history and stories while taking us through all areas of the city. We visited Massena, the port, and the old town. Highly recommend!
Our guide was Ali (I hope I am spelling that correctly). He took my two grandsons and I on a one hour tour of old Nice on Feb 17 and was one of the best tour guides I have ever had in many decades. He was extremely thoughtful, patient, and suggested some specific features my grandsons would enjoy. His knowledge of the history and cultural imporance of Nice were impressive. I will be recommending him to my stepson and his wife who live in Marseilles as my stepson comes to Nice on business often and will want to know about Ali so as to recommend him to his colleagues.
