Il tuo tour di un'intera giornata inizia con un prelievo alle 8:00 dal tuo hotel o dalla stazione ferroviaria di Agra Cantt (AGC). Incontra la tua guida, sali a bordo della tua auto privata AC Toyota.
Per prima cosa visitiamo il magnifico Taj Mahal (chiuso il venerdì), un patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO, una delle sette meraviglie del mondo e sicuramente l'espressione d'amore più stravagante mai creata. 20.000 uomini hanno lavorato per oltre 17 anni per costruire questo memoriale per l'amata moglie di Shah Jahan. È una ricchezza di marmi bianchi e pietre semipreziose - «senza dubbio il momento clou del tour».
Successivamente, visita l'imponente Forte di Agra, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Costruito dall'imperatore Akbar nel 1565 d.C., questo enorme forte è fatto di arenaria rossa. Gli eleganti edifici all'interno riflettono un'interessante sintesi di stili architettonici indù e dell'Asia centrale. Il labirinto di cortili, moschee e stanze private del forte riecheggia la storia dell'Impero Mughal.
Alle 14:30 dopo pranzo iniziamo il viaggio di 1 ora verso Fatehpur Sikri, anch'esso patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Descritta come "la città fantasma più perfettamente conservata al mondo, fu costruita da Akbar alla fine del XVI secolo e abbandonata dopo soli 14 anni. Gli eleganti edifici di questa superba città murata rimangono intatti fino ad oggi.
In prima serata, prenditi un po 'di tempo per fare shopping ad Agra, nota per i suoi favolosi manufatti in marmo e intarsi in pietra morbida. I Mughal erano grandi mecenati delle arti e dei mestieri. L'imperatrice Nur Jahan ha preso un interesse personale ed era lei stessa un'artista affermata nel lavoro di ricamo zari. I principali prodotti artigianali di Agra oltre al lavoro di intarsio sono articoli in pelle, articoli in ottone, tappeti, gioielli e lavori di ricamo.
Dopo il giro turistico ci trasferiamo alla stazione ferroviaria di Agra Cantt (AGC) o torniamo al tuo hotel ad Agra intorno alle 18:00.

Had an excellent experience on my recent full-day tour of Agra with tour guide Mr. Rajni Kant and driver Mr. Sonu. The day began well with on-time hotel pickup for the Taj Mahal sunrise tour. The itinerary for the day was well-planned with flexibility to spend more time at each site such as the Agra Fort and "Baby Taj." Rajni provided a complete history of each location and the best views for photos throughout the day. The lunch provided was a delicious buffet with abundant Indian favorites and courteous service. If local shopping or services are of interest, Rajni will guide you in the right direction. If safe travels are a concern, Mr. Sonu's driving and navigational skills will smoothly transition you throughout the city even in heavy traffic. You will be well-served by this team.

Jaya took us with a private driver to see the Taj and other sites we wanted to see. She was excellent and so full of knowledgeable! She was very flexible and allowed us to arrange the itinerary how we wanted. Definitely recommend her and this tour company 😊

Don’t hesitate! This is an amazing and super organized tour. Our driver Ravi picked us up at airport and took us to Agra where we met our amazing guide Rajesh took us to see the Taj Mahal. He’s very knowledgeable and a great photographer as well. We had tradicional Indian lunch followed by some shopping. It’s a very long day but worth every second! We also used Nikita Holidays for our transportation in Mumbai and city Tour. Raj Sharma, the CEO made everything go smoothly. Super recommended!

I am so happy I booked my once in a lifetime tour of the Taj Mahal and environs with this company. Our guide Mahesh was super! He went out of his way to find me a gold 3D charm of the Taj Mahal. He did this by making several phone calls and going to 3 shops. He was also very attentive to all of our needs concerning the heat (113°). Our driver Prem was great as well. We enjoyed our two days with them immensely. My husband and I joked that they treated us better than our own family! Raj the manager kept texting me throughout our two days to make sure the service was superior. Thank you for making our once in a lifetime experience extra memorable.
