Il tour inizierà alle 09:00 dal tuo hotel e visiteremo la foresta delle scimmie, il palazzo e il mercato dell'arte di Ubud. Successivamente visiteremo Happy Swing Bali, è un ottimo posto per sperimentare la fotografia swing con un bellissimo abito lungo. Continuiamo quindi il viaggio e visitiamo la terrazza del riso Tegalalang. La Foresta delle scimmie di Ubud è una riserva naturale e anche un complesso di templi religiosi con un grande significato per il popolo locale balinese. Ospita circa 340 scimmie macachi che mangiano il granchio, non c'è dubbio che vedrete masse di fauna locale nel loro habitat naturale. Le scimmie sono divise in 4 gruppi o famiglie e occupano diversi punti del parco.
Palazzo di Ubud dove la gente del posto ha detto di Puri Saren è uno dei famosi luoghi di interesse a Bali. È il posto preferito da visitare durante il tour di Ubud. Si trova proprio nel centro del villaggio di Ubud, il luogo turistico più famoso dell'isola con culture dal vivo che vengono eseguite ogni notte. È rappresentato dal Tempio della famiglia del Re di Ubud, situato nel nord est del palazzo.
Mercato di Ubud: gli inquilini forniscono ogni oggetto di souvenir immaginabile, da gioielli in argento e pietre preziose a batik, T-shirt, parei da spiaggia, sculture in legno e borse da lavoro in canna. Ogni bancarella è piena di prelibatezze; alcuni oggetti sono persino appesi ai soffitti. Dal momento che è un mercato tradizionale, aspettatevi alleati stipati e odori sgradevoli di tanto in tanto.

Anche i pittori e gli amanti della natura amano visitare questo luogo, e vicino alla sporgenza ci sono numerosi chioschi d'arte e bar che offrono i loro articoli.

Monkey forest and rice terrace was great! Completely worthwhile to see. Palace was nothing special and could have been missed. Our driver Mera shared so many interesting details about the sights along the way which truly added to our experience!
Monkey forest was great! Take a selfie with the monkeys, it’s was the best part! Rice terrace was amazing but the Palace was just ho-hum. Our driver Wena was very nice and attentive but we were disappointed that he wasn’t a “guide” so we didn’t get any insights into the local culture or sights that we passed along the way.
Fabulous trip. Budi our driver was wonderful, kept us on track for our itinerary and took us to a wonderful restaurant too. The most enjoyable aspect is he didn’t push us to do other things and was very good at giving us background information without overwhelming us! The little extras of bottled water in the car was gratefully received. I would definitely recommend this trip!

Our guide was very professional and respectful. Always on time and his car was very clean. Monkey forest and rice terrace were great. The Palace is not worth the visit and art market is good if you want to do some shopping.

We did the half day tour with Nyoman & very much enjoyed seeing the real Bali. Nyoman was friendly, polite, prompt & very accommodating towards our needs & wants. Great half day tour if you are looking for something shorter (I still left the hotel at 9am and got back around 3pm but it’s not a full day out). My driver Irwan was extremely friendly and taught me a lot about Balinese culture during the drive, which was wonderful. The monkey forest was fun and he guided me through and then dropped me off at Ubud Palace and the art market and asked how much time I wanted to spend and then he would pick me up after. It was nice having some free time to walk around. Our final stop were the rice terraces which were cool but honestly a a bit ruined with the tourism and all the zip lines and swings but still a very cool place to see and I assume the entrance fee goes to the local community. Overall it was a great tour to do as a solo traveler or even in a small group. Lunch and drinks are not included so I’d suggest bringing water and snacks and if you’re really hungry grabbing some food in Ubud when you’re there.
Excellent day tour; driver was prompt to pick up at the hotel. I was the only passenger, so it was a very personal tour. Thankyou Darma 😄 He spoke excellent English, & explained all the history, religion & culture of Bali & Indonesia, which made it such an interesting day!
