Il Taj Mahal è un mausoleo in marmo bianco avorio sulla riva sud del fiume Yamuna nella città indiana di Agra. Fu commissionato nel 1632 dall'imperatore Mughal, Shah Jahan, per ospitare la tomba della sua moglie preferita, Mumtaz Mahal. Ospita anche la tomba di Shah Jahan, il costruttore.
Il Forte di Agra è un forte storico nella città di Agra in India. Fu la residenza principale degli imperatori della dinastia Moghul fino al 1638, quando la capitale fu spostata da Agra a Delhi. Had an amazing experience with Praveen giving us a sunrise tour of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and made the day easy by facilitating the tickets for each place and bypassing the lines. We'll use him and his company for any future India excursions. Praveen met us at our hotel when we arrived the even before to plan our day. We met up with him again at 5am and proceeded to the Taj Mahal. Once there he was very helpful explaining the history of the building and providing a lot of information about the building and surrounding area. He also arranged for a photographer who was able to take a bunch of great pictures, especially as we were early and the crowds were not very big. Praveen toured us through the entire monument m, and kindly took many pictures along the way. On the way back he noticed my wife’s interest in the horse buggies and arranged a ride back to our hotel. Next time I am in Agra, Praveen will be my first call!

Everything was fine! Krishan, our guide was very kind and has great knowledge about the city and the places we visited. Our driver, Omveer, again excellent; very careful and always on time. The only thing we don't like about tours is that clients are 'forced' to visit shops; that must be optional because not everybody likes to 'waste time' in these kind of activities and prefer to see other things. India is an amazing country and has tons of things to offer!

Had a great time touring all around Agra today. The Taj Mahal was magnificent. Our tour guide was very professional and took us to many places.

I wanted to photograph the Taj Mahal both at Sunrise and Sunset. I contacted India trek to see if they would creat a custom tour. They were more than happy to do that, plus had excellent suggestions for the activity. They arranged for a car, driver, guide and photographer for our tour. At sunrise we were on the only boat allowed on the river! Great views of the Taj Mahal with no people. For sunset we crossed the river for more memorable shots including a brilliant sunset over Fort Agra. I highly recommend this company.

We visited the Taj Mahal on a bright sunny day later morning as we had small kids. It was still very quiet with not many visitors. We got stunning pictures with clear blue skies. Pravin explained everything about the magnificent building and its history and escorted us around taking time to point out all its beauties and snap some pics for us as well. We then moved on to see the Agra Fort from which you get a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal and which is majestic and impressive on its own. Would definitely recommend Pravin as a guide with all the knowledge as well as good English and polite and friendly.
