This was a delightful tour. Jorge was very knowledgeable about PV and made it a fun time for all!!!!
Good morning, My trip is not on June 07 — it is on July 07. I have already called and rescheduled the correct date. Please update my reservation to reflect July 07, as that is the accurate travel date.
Gio the driver and Jorge the guide were the best. Tour is Fabulous.covers all the things Mexico has to offer chocolate jewelry leather goods Malecon then thru city of PV old PV coffee roaster then out to the tequila distillery Tequilera Don Chandon for tasting and amazingly delicious and bountiful food It’s in Jorge home village quaint and rustic. Informative and always ready to lend a hand getting in and out of the van Highly recommend this tour company Book the Tripadvisor
The boardwalk and church were great. The tequila tasting took place in a small Mexican town (felt like you were really seeing the country). But the chocolate factory, jewelery store and leather store felt like sales pitches. Overall we saw alot for a reasonable price. Driving to and from and through Peurto Vallarta felt like a tour in and of itself.
A full day tour in a van with others which included quite a few stops. We stopped at many Puerto Vallarta city highlights which included the malecon, coffee, chocolate making, jewelry store for opals, leather shop, city hall, a church and later went further afield to the small town of Los Veranos for tequila tasting and a great lunch. (lunch not included in tour cost but reasonable) It was a broad introduction to Puerto Vallarta. We loved going off the beaten path for the tequila tasting and lunch. I'm a slow walker and getting in and out of a van can be hard for me sometimes but the guides were kind and accommodating. (as were my fellow passengers) If you are less interested in shopping this might not be the tour for you. But, that said, you do get an introduction to some of the wonderful things Mexico produces and is known for. Our guides were fun and the day passed quickly. A good tour for all.
Wonderful tour, excellent tour guide, beautiful blue waterfront with shops along the way.
Took the tour with our family. Hardly any time given for explanation of coffee, chocolate or tequila making. No time at the melicon and the stops at the jewelery at terribly long and not educational at all. The highlights are the tequila tasting and the meal at the tequila factory. Food was amazing and would just cab there for that. Not cheap thought.
OK tour that runs longer than the description. If you’re a hotel guest it’s not a problem but if you’re from a cruise ship it is a problem. We left the tour and took a taxi back halfway through.
Run don’t stop, skip this tour!! They just stop at ships to try to get you to buy overpriced leather and jewelry. Our driver Chilo left us at the leather shop, mind you we returned within 20 minutes, the allotted time to shop, we went for the street to pick up tacos. Thankfully another tour was kind enough to get us back to our hotel. This tour is crap and they just take you to overpriced shops. A posit of sandals was $67, plain leather sandals mind you that you can get at the local market for ~$20. This tour is a sales pitch.
The tour itself was pretty good, but there wasn’t much to the chocolate tasting, just 5 minutes in and out; very chaotic. Alot of getting in and out of van. The driver/tour guide (same person) wasn’t very good about letting us know what was going on. we were confused a lot… but the worst was the drive back as he drove very erratically, very fast as if he was extremely angry or extremely late. Myself and others felt afraid and unsafe and I was shaken up when I returned to the hotel. The first part was very rushed then at the tequila tasting we had to wait and wait. I would recommend this tour with a different driver/tour guide unless he improves
