O Sala Colonia è una necropoli e un complesso di antica Tingitana romana romana e rovine medievali alla periferia di Rabat, è il più antico insediamento umano sulla foce del fiume BouRegreg.
Situato sul lato opposto della spianata di Yaakub Al Mansour. Contiene le tombe del re marocchino Mohammed V e dei suoi due figli, il defunto re Hassan II e il principe Abdallah.
È il minareto di una moschea incompleta, la torre doveva essere il più grande minareto del mondo insieme alla sua moschea, ma il lavoro si interruppe subito dopo la morte di Yaakub Al Mansour.
La Kasbah si trova alla foce del fiume Bou Regreg, costruita nel XII secolo dagli Almohadi che la chiamarono "Al Mahdia" in riferimento al loro leader Al Mahdi Ben Tumurt. In origine questa Kasbah era una Ribat (una difesa militare). E in seguito la Kasbah diede il nome a tutta la città. Kasbah Oudayas è una città nella città, una piccola città a parte a Rabat. Nel 2012 è stato iscritto nella lista del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO come bene culturale insieme ad altri siti della città.

Youseff was an excellent guide with a rich background of Morocco/Rabat history. He was knowledgeable with wonderful English skills. Our driver kept us safe and on time. I recommend both highly.

We booked through Memphis Travel who uses this company locally. I highly recommend both companies. They re well organized, always timely. The tour guide, Isham, was knowledgeable and very detailed. Our driver/guide, Larbi, was exceptional. He spent ten days with us throughout Morocco. He placed our safety foremost before any thing else, in every way. Know that Morocco is a safe country, just use travel prudence with your belongings, like any other travel destination. Additionally, he made sure we were well informed of his culture and maximized our experience at every opportunity. He speaks Berber, Arabic, French and English, and serves a a constant source of information. He is very proud of his culture and gladly shares it with you. Definitely use these two companies.
Ichamito Echerfaoui was the tourist guide hired through Fire Bird Tours. Very well educated guide, able to go far beyond the typical architectural, historical and geographical information.If you are interested in social, political, religious views Mr. Echerfaoui is an excellent choice.
Pure Morocco arranged a Rabat half day tour for us. They were very professional, helpful and efficient. Our tour guide was Hicham who arrived on time and was very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He showed us all the sights as promised but his explanation made everything much more interesting. It felt like we were exploring Rabat with a friend. Hicham also recommended a great coffee shop and 2 really good restaurants which we tried and they were all great. Next time we are in Morocco, we will definitely ask Pure Morocco to arrange our whole itinerary.
Mohamed Lakhdimi gave us an exceptional tour around the key historical sites of Rabat. His English is excellent and he is courteous and respectful. He swiftly focused on what interested us. We were impressed by both his depth of knowledge and that he also willingly & unhesitatingly answered all our questions. With so much still shut because of Covid, with a lesser guide the tour could have been a disappointment but Mohamed made it a high point of our visit to Rabat
