Il memoriale del genocidio di Kigali commemora il genocidio ruandese del 1994. Vi sono sepolti i resti di oltre 250.000 persone. C'è un centro visitatori per studenti e altri che desiderano comprendere gli eventi che hanno portato al genocidio avvenuto in Ruanda nel 1994.
Il mercato di Kimironko, situato nel quartiere Kimironko di Kigali, è il mercato più frequentato della città. Di produzione locale, il mercato di Kimironko è ricco di prodotti made in Rwanda che includono souvenir, vari tessuti per vestiti, senza dimenticare il cibo locale e diversi tipi di verdure.

Il Museo della campagna contro il genocidio è uno degli otto musei gestiti dalla Rwanda Cultural Heritage Academy. È ospitato nell'edificio parlamentare del Ruanda ed è stato inaugurato nel 2017 da Paul Kagame con l'obiettivo di mostrare la storia del Ruanda durante la campagna contro il genocidio contro i Tutsi.
Il monte Kigali o Mont Kigali in francese, è una collina nella città di Kigali, in Ruanda, da cui prende il nome la città. Il monte Kigali si trova direttamente a ovest del centro città nel distretto di Nyarugenge. La maggior parte del distretto di Nyarugenge si trova sulle pendici del Monte Kigali.
