Siamo un'esperienza unica Hop on Hop off poiché le prime cinque fermate sono scortate con ampio tempo per esplorare, i giardini Lili Uokulani, la statua del Re Kamehameha, Big Island Candies, il Wailoa River State Park e Rainbow Falls senza aspettare un altro autobus, il tuo posto è salvato. Avrai quindi tutto il tempo per esplorare la storica città vecchia di Hilo con il suo famoso mercato contadino, negozi, ristoranti e musei, nonché due bellissimi parchi sulla spiaggia per nuotare rilassandoti e la possibilità di vedere le nostre tartarughe marine verdi Honu prendere il sole il tutto incluso nel tuo Hoppa on Hoppa off day pass. La quota d'ingresso a Rainbow Falls non è inclusa ma può essere acquistata in anticipo. La fermata di Rainbow Falls è facoltativa e può essere bypassata con una sosta a Old Town Hilo e saltando le cascate.

This 2.5 hour tour is on a large, comfortable bus that drives you around the town of Hilo. It’s not a traditional hop-on, hop-off arrangement: you stay with the driver the whole time. We spent the first 30 minutes at a bakery watching 6 women dip short breads into chocolate. On the bus, the driver said very little about the Big Island's culture or history. Typical comments were: “On your right is the local fish auction house.” “Here’s where I went to high school.” “This is the bridge that I fish off with my kids.” The driver seemed to enjoy talking about his “aloha” philosophy. We visited 2 parks which were mostly trees and grass. Our last stop was a small waterfall which had an admission charge, paid up front to the tour company. The whole tour can be summed up in 3 words: Boring. Boring. Boring. Don’t waste your money.
Well all I can say is sorry you don’t find our tropical paradise boring, you only got to see a beautiful Japanese Garden, a tropical waterfall our wonderful Wailoa river state park, free samples at a local cookie company and apparently you didn’t Hop on and off to Historic Hilo and 2 beautiful beach stops. Not sure what you were expecting for such a low price tour. You may want to stick to the big city.
Take a car and go on your own; it's a horrible beach, I think there are better options, the usual tourist scam.
We were on a Princess cruise and independently booked this tour. It worked out well for us. The pick up spot to get on the bus is a short walk from the port.

What a nice tour. We were taken around town to king Kamehameha statue, to a Japanese garden, rainbow falls then the Hilo cookie company. You were given the option of staying in town and getting picked up later. We then got off the tour and took their beach shuttle to Richardson Beach for some great snorkeling. Linda our driver was the best. All this for less than half of what the cruise line charges. You won't be disappointed.
Excellent tour on a small comfortable bus. Cousin Jan was informative and helpfull. After the guided tour the hop on off aapect allowed us time to shop and get back to the ship in plenty of time.
Great tour despite the rain. Rep met us at the cruise port and drove us a short distance to the office where we got on the tour bus. The driver was very informative and gave us a good commentary as we travelled around.

Reasonably priced tour viewing 4 different sites with very friendly and accommodating staff. They also provided transportation to 2 beaches in the price of the tickets.
The tour was very nice. We would have liked to have spent more time at Volcanoes National Park. The guide seemed more interested in making sure we got to the beach & candy store. We would have preferred more time at the park. The tour was nicely put together & we saw beautiful views.
