Vedrai il Teatro Nazionale e il Grand Hotel Continental, l'hotel più alto della città.
Qui furono invitati leader stranieri come Charles de Gaulle (1968), Richard Nixon (1969) o Fidel Castro (1972). Nel periodo post-dicembre il palazzo fu villa di protocollo per ricevere delegazioni ufficiali provenienti dal Paese e dall'estero. Nel 2016 la casa chiamata anche Palazzo della Primavera è stata trasformata in museo.
Al centro di uno degli incroci più trafficati della città, si erge l'Arco di Trionfo. Il monumento ricorda ai passanti la vittoria dell’esercito rumeno nella prima guerra mondiale e la Grande Unione del 1918, uno degli eventi più importanti della storia della Romania. Costruito secondo il modello francese, l'Arco di Trionfo della “Piccola Parigi”, come alcuni chiamavano la capitale rumena, è il “fratello minore” del famoso monumento omonimo di Parigi.
Uno dei monumenti di Bucarest che ricorda meglio il regime comunista. L'edificio fu costruito tra il 1952 e il 1957 e fungeva da quartier generale della pubblicazione ufficiale del Partito Comunista, Scânteia (La Scintilla). Dopo la rivoluzione rumena del 1989, il nome dell'edificio fu sostituito con “Casa della stampa libera”.
Calea Victoriei è conosciuta come una strada aristocratica e la strada più famosa di Bucarest. l'arteria più antica e quella più turistica. La strada è fiancheggiata da nuovi negozi di moda, boutique d'arte, caffetterie e ristoranti, edifici storici.
L'Ateneo Rumeno è una sala da concerto nel centro di Bucarest, in Romania, e un punto di riferimento della capitale rumena. Inaugurato nel 1888, l'edificio circolare decorato con cupola è la sala da concerto più prestigiosa della città, ricorda un antico tempio greco e sede della Filarmonica "George Enescu" e del Festival George Enescu.
Il luogo in cui l'ex presidente comunista Ceausescu pronunciò l'ultimo discorso nel 1989.
La residenza reale invernale dei re rumeni, datata 1937. Il palazzo fu costruito sotto la diretta supervisione dell'amata regina Maria e di suo figlio, il re Carol II.
Uno degli edifici più iconici di Bucarest che ospita la banca più antica della Romania.
Di fronte al Palazzo CEC si trova il Museo di Storia Nazionale della Romania, il più grande del suo genere nel paese. Il museo si trova all'ingresso del centro storico di Bucarest.
Il secondo edificio amministrativo più grande del mondo dopo il Pentagono ma più pesante di lui! Per fare un confronto, si può menzionare che l'edificio supera del 2% il volume della Grande Piramide di Giza in Egitto, e quindi è etichettato come una costruzione "faraonica".
44 fontane sono tutte sincronizzate, offrendo al passante uno spettacolo che rende queste fontane il punto focale di Piazza Unirii. Oggi l'intero sistema di fontane è la fontana coreografica sincronizzata più lunga del mondo.
Questa piazza è il miglior punto di accesso alla Città Vecchia, alla Casa del Popolo e anche all’hotel più antico della capitale, il Manuc’s Inn.

The driver (sorry forgot the owners name 🤷🏻♀️) spoke clear in English. He came on time too. He picked us up in front of the hotel. The vehicle tuk tuk was clean, comfy to ride in. We told him that we had seen what should/could be seen in Old Town so he drove us to the sights on the other side of town. Parliament area, luxury streets, famous fountain lane etc. etc. The driver stopped so that my husband was able to take pictures. He answered alot of my 'why' questions 😊. Was a safe driver. We were given water and a Romanian chocolate small cake. I recommend the tuk tuk 5 stars +. It's not advertised anywhere but ask. Ask the hotel receptionist. With this service you get your 'why' questions patiently answered and your personal driver is very informative! It saves ALOT of walking and is not expensive for two people. If you think it is...well try a taxi and let them RIP YOU OFF..it happened in Malaga and they did it to us here as we were waiting for the Hop on and Off, that did not come. So we took a taxi because we had a ticket appointment. Hotel warns about taking taxis. We stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn, Old Town. Ok..can't say they are ALL cheaters but long story short...we tried it 1 more time and the guy charged 130 Lei by taking the longest way back to the hotel. The one who took us to the museum ca.40 Lei. Mind that we were here a week and were familiar with the routes. Anyway...the tuk tuk tour you can count on! And it's funny to be in it anyway. Different. Nice.
If you are looking for a way to see the sights of Bucharest, this is it. What a great 2-hour tour!!! It was the perfect length of time. Alin was an awesome guide who shared great facts about the city!!! He was also kind enough to offer to take our pictures at multiple locations! A really nice touch was getting out at a few of the free sites where Alin personally led us through. It’s also a highly unique experience. We loved the views but it was Alin personal touch that made all the difference. Don't hesitate to book this!

Alin was a great tour guide and made this an entirely worthwhile trip. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the history. I felt very safe while driving around busy traffic and we had a good afternoon discussing and connecting over our kids and fun things while seeing many sights that day. My phone battery ran out at our last stop and he took pictures for and of me on his phone and then sent to me. Very professional.

Great way to see the sights of Bucharest! The 2 Hour tour was just right. Alin was an awesome guide, speaking to all the sights while exploring all around Bucharest, and offering to take our picture at many of the locations! We got out at a few of the (free) sites, and Alin led us through them...a nice touch! You'll soon see that there's not many Tuk Tuks in Bucharest...so you'll have pedestrians staring at you as you pass by, since it's such a unique experience! Highly recommend!
