Grande moschea dello sceicco Zayed che è stata nominata in onore del defunto presidente, sua altezza lo sceicco Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. La moschea è abbastanza grande da ospitare oltre 40.000 fedeli, mentre la sala di preghiera principale può contenere oltre 7.000. Ci sono due sale di preghiera più piccole, con una capacità di 1.500 ciascuna, una delle quali è la sala di preghiera delle donne.

This tour was the only bad experience I had while in the UAE. Everything was ok until the guide took me to the market where they try charge me over $200 for curry and a pack of dates. I told them I won’t pay that much and guide told me “when I bring other tourist here they pay that price willingly”. He then pretty much got on phone calls for the rest of the tour and I couldn’t wait to get home. Before the tour was over the guide ask you to give them 5 stars and stare you down until you do. I was a solo female traveler so i didn’t want to cause too much conflict. Ended up doing the mosque tour with another guide on another day because I didn’t want this experience ruined for me.
