Itinerario
Iniziamo il nostro tour con una passeggiata nel favoloso piazzale dell'Harvey's Brewery. Il più antico birrificio ininterrotto del Sussex. Spieghiamo la storia e il suo modo tradizionale di lavorare.
Si passa quindi alla spina non ufficiale del birrificio, il John Harvey, un paio di birre in botte meravigliosamente conservate da Harvey's.
Una passeggiata di 15 minuti dal John Harvey, ammirando un po' di storia locale lungo il percorso, ci conduce a Beak, la destinazione della birra artigianale più famosa e ambita di Lewes. Aspettatevi birre in stile americano fortemente luppolate, cibo fantastico e specialità stagionali, tra cui fermentazioni miste e birre in botte.
Una passeggiata di 15 minuti da Beak al centro città ci porta ad Abyss Brewing, probabilmente la destinazione della birra più popolare. Serve un'ampia varietà di birra, sia la propria che quella degli ospiti, cocktail e vini, oltre a un camion di cibo messicano in loco, è il luogo perfetto per finire e immergersi nell'atmosfera.

I never thought of myself as a beer lover, but went on this tour with my husband. Fascinating Brewery talks with beer samples included in the price. Turns out I love beer. Dan knows so much about Lewis and, of course, beer - all imparted with great knowledge and humour.
A fantastic trip round Lewes stopping at 3 beer hotspots, all led by the fantastically knowledgeable. Whether you are very into your beer or someone fairly new to it I promise you there is something for everyone and you'll have a fantastic time. I've been wanting to come to Lewes for a beer tour for ages and this was a perfect way to see the towns beery delights! Highly recommended.

Dan was a brilliant host - super knowledgeable about all things beer. Lewes is a stunning town too so the combination with some brilliant beer is perfect!
Excellent tour with some lovely beers from great breweries. Dan the guide really knew his stuff and was able to answer all of the questions that came up, and shared some interesting facts about the area and its beer and pub history.
We had a brilliant tour of Lewes breweries with Dan - he's super knowledgeable and entertaining and answered our many questions! Would definitely recommend as a thing to do in Lewes - lots of knowledge also about the beautiful town in addition to the load about beer. Plus, all of the 6, 7, 8(?) different beers that were included were delicious and he was happy to switch out any we didn't want to try. Thank you Dan!
Dan is a very knowledgeable bloke who obviously has a passion for the area and ofcourse the amazing beer the area produces. Everyone knows about Harvey's and quite rightly so, but the two up and coming other breweries we visited produce some amazing products which I will be visiting again on my next nights out in Lewes. I never knew they existed until now and glad that I have 2 new places to eat/drink when I visit the area as these are just not breweries but places to visit to eat/drink. One of the brewers took some time out to explain his journey and answer questions which again shows the customer love these people have. Don't expect to see how the beer is made, and the itninary doesn't suggest it will, but what you will get is a grand tour, alot of history and knowledge and ofcourse various samples of what the area can offer. Book it 🍺🍻
This is the most brilliant outing. Lewes is stunning, the beer delicious and the knowledge imparted, incredible. Highly recommended.
Great tour and very knowledgeable guide. Beers were all lovely even ones I didn't expect to enjoy which was a nice surprise.
Absolutely loved loved this tour. Went a long with a friend from Brighton and a friend from New York as an early birthday celebration for myself! Had never been to Lewes so loved the town but the beer tour was fantastic! Dan is not only super knowledgeable but also great fun! I loved every part of but especially Beak, good job I don't live in Lewes I might never leave Beak, Beak Brewery v KCBC is literally my favourite beer at the moment! Thanks again to Dan and Ally and the others who made it a fantastic day out on a very sunny day!
