In questo tour visiteremo 3 dei siti storici più antichi e belli della Transilvania. Visiteremo il villaggio di Saxon Viscri, con strade rustiche e case sassoni splendidamente colorate. Saliremo sulla collina e visiteremo la chiesa bianca fortificata, da cui il nome del villaggio di Viscri (la Chiesa Bianca). Poi ci dirigeremo a Sighisoara, la città ha svolto un importante ruolo strategico e commerciale ai margini dell'Europa Cetrale per diversi secoli. Vecchie case medievali con una bella architettura, strade strette con case dai colori vivaci torneranno indietro nel tempo e vi faranno sentire come principesse e principi (vedi Vlad Tepes) che vivevano in città. La cittadella di Rupea, costruita sulla collina di Cohalmului, che domina la città dall'alto, fu costruita e ampliata nel XIV - XVII secolo, come fortezza e rifugio per i villaggi circostanti.

Itinerario
Si tratta di una fortezza medievale, costruita a partire dal XIV secolo sulla collina di Cohalm. La prima attestazione documentaria risale al 1324 quando i Sassoni insorti contro il re Carlo Roberto d'Ungheria si rifugiarono all'interno della fortezza, Castrum Kuholm. Il nome di Kuholom si riferisce alla roccia su cui è stato costruito: il basalto. Documenti del XV secolo citano la fortezza come importante centro commerciale e artigianale con 12 corporazioni. La cittadella servì nel tempo da fortificazione ma anche da rifugio per la popolazione che viveva nelle colline e nelle valli circostanti, essendo il suo insediamento strategico: all'incrocio delle strade che collegavano Transilvania, Moldavia e Valacchia attraverso i passi sud-orientali. Cittadella Rupea, costruita sulla collina di Cohalmului, che domina dall'alto la città, fu costruita e ampliata nei secoli XIV-XVII, come fortezza e rifugio per i villaggi circostanti.
La tua prima tappa è il villaggio trecentesco di Viscri, costruito dai coloni sassoni. È una delle più belle e antiche chiese fortificate della Transilvania. Passeggia per le strade rustiche del villaggio e visita la sua chiesa dichiarata Patrimonio dell'Umanità UNESCO. con i contadini, assaggiate la palinca (Brandy) prodotta nel villaggio, comprerete i prodotti fatti a mano dai contadini del villaggio e ci rinfrescheremo con il delizioso sciroppo di frutta "Socata".
Sighisora è considerata la cittadella abitata più bella e meglio conservata d'Europa, con un'autentica architettura medievale. È una delle poche città fortificate che sono ancora abitate. Vlad Tepes, alias Dracula, nacque in questa città nel 1431 e noi visitare la casa dove è nata la misteriosa stampa. Sighisoara centrale ha conservato in modo esemplare il carattere di una piccola città fortificata medievale, è stato elencato dall'UNESCO come sito del patrimonio mondiale.

Very nice guided tour and lots of information
It was a really nice and well organised experience! Also, the tour guide was more than polite and well informed about the route, the monuments and local history.
What a fantastic trip. Rupea is enthralling, Viscri is like stepping back to a quieter time, withe the surprise of finding out that King Charles owns a house there and Sighisoara is beautiful. Triain our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. If you’re in Brasov give it a go.
This guided tour was exceptionally well-organized and a thorough pleasure to attend. The tour guide was outstanding—not only incredibly polite and helpful but also genuinely attentive to every participant's needs. They provided deep and engaging insights into the history of the various landmarks. Thanks to the guide's warm and welcoming demeanor, the atmosphere was excellent throughout. This tour offers fantastic value for money and is well worth the investment.
This is a day tour full of interesting sights and history. We were the only 2 people on the tour so it effectively became a private tour. Traian is very knowledgeable about the various sites visited, which included Rupea Fortress, Viscri, with the fortified church and the property owned by King Charles, and the atmospheric and historic town of Sighisoara, where we had a walking tour and enjoyed lunch at ‘Dracula’s Restaurant’. Although admission to the various sites is not included in the tour price, these are not expensive and there is no obligation to enter these. We also had some free time in Sighisoara, and were caught in a thunderstorm walking back to the vehicle, although Traian came to meet us carrying umbrellas, which was a nice touch! Overall I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see and learn more about this fascinating region.
Mr. Traian is a very knowledgeable person. Not just that, he’s a kind and accommodating person too. Explains the history thoroughly and develops the context for each site I would recommend to engage him with your Transylvania experience.

Very informative and knowledgeable guide! To visit the cites and learn their history accompanied by the guide was very rewarding. Entrance fee must be paid at most location. Guide also offered to stop by Biertan for an added cost, well worth it.
