Excellent pace and overview of the sites. Our guide, Ismael was entertaining and knowledgeable. He kept things interesting, especially for the kids.
We spent 4 hours with our guide Carmela today and she was WONDERFUL. I truly couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. She was knowledgeable, vivacious, and attentive to everyone on the tour. Even with lots of other tour groups nearby, she somehow made us feel like we were on a private tour. She pointed out so many details I wouldn't have noticed on my own, and had in-depth answers for all the questions asked by our group. She also gave us time to wander and made sure everyone was accounted for and feeling good. I wish she could be my tour guide in every city I visit. If you have a chance to book with her, please take it!
The Cathedral of Seville is spectacular and the Alcazar was good. It is walking for 4 hours with a couple of breaks. Seville art, architecture and history is wonderful. The key to these tours though is your guide and Carmela was the best we have had so far in Europe. She was fantastic, her enthusiasm, knowledge and insights are invaluable. It makes a tour go from good to outstanding. Carmela made our day outstanding and well worth the money.
Our tour of the Cathedral and Alcazar was an awesome experience especially due to our guide Ismael. His historical knowledge and funny wit made the tour so much fun. I would add on the “what to expect” page that shoulders must be covered in the Cathedral for those who don’t know
I wish I hadn’t gone up the tower because I didn’t spend as long in the cathedral as I would have liked. They give you an option to go up the tower or to wander around the cathedral. Yes, the views when you get to the top are nice, but there’s a lot of people up there. Climbing the 35 stories (ramps, not stairs) is strenuous. The cathedral has so many things to see in it. I just wish we were able to spend more time. The Alcazar is beautiful, and they end the tour there so you can wander around the grounds after the tour. I would have liked it if we did Alcazar first and then the Cathedral. Our tour guide, Alva, was very friendly and gave a good overview of everything we saw. It seemed a bit disorganized because we waited for some people who were late, and then waited again between the cathedral and Alcazar for others to join. Having a large tour group wait in the hot sun seems a bit disorganized. Overall though, I’m glad I went on the tour.
Manuela was an excellent tour guide, she answered questions with knowledge and gave us the highlights of both locations. The only downside is that an opportunity for visiting the Cathedral gift shop was not given, and you can only visit it with a ticket.
This tour was absolutely top notch. Amazingly beautiful sites with our unbelievably knowledgeable and kind tour guide, Alvaro. Will definitely recommend this tour to friends and family when they visit Seville. Thank you, Alvaro!
The tour was great. It lasted approx 3:30 hours and we visited La Giralda, the Cathedral, and the Royal Alcazar. Our guide was María Angeles from the company Naturanda. She explained everything very well, answered our questions, and was super friendly with the group of 30 people that we were. I highly recommend it! Thank you María Angeles for giving us a beautiful experience!
