Nagarkot è una delle colline più vicine e famose di Kathmandu. Nagarkot è un villaggio situato a circa 36 km a est della valle di Kathmandu ad un'altitudine di circa 2.165 m sul livello del mare. Essendo uno dei luoghi più panoramici della regione, Nagarkot è famoso per le sue vedute dell'alba sull'Himalaya. The view of the Himalayas depends on the weather. The day we went the weather was good. We had a really great view of the mountains. Our guide was able to point out various peaks, including Everest. The second half of the tour was interesting. Our guide was good and very friendly. We are glad we took the tour.

The weather was beautiful and the mountains were clear. Durbar Square in Bhaktapur is huge. Earthquake damage prevented us from seeing some buildings. This tour was pricey, but it was a good experience.
