Tour del whisky di Speyside

My wife and I had a lovely time with Robert touring around Speyside. We saw five different distilleries and had a nice lunch. Robert was extremely knowledgeable of the area and of each distillery we went to. He was also hilarious and fun to chat with, making the time fly by during the tour. We would highly recommend Robert to anyone who wants to have a great day out in Speyside!

Robert was excellent. We had a great day. He suggested several little known distilleries and they were great. Fun people. Just go with Roberts suggestions. It will be a fabulous day.

If you are travelling to Scotland, Whisky enthusiast or not, Robert’s tour is an essential for any itinerary! The tour was scenic, dynamic and our skilled guide was able to shape the tour to our preferences as we went for a wonderfully bespoke and thoughtful experience. Robert was delightful company and exceedingly knowledgeable on all fronts, whisky, history and where to have the best lunch; a great companion for a day in the Scottish countryside! We visited several distilleries throughout the day all with distinct characteristics and experiences made accessible to us through Robert’s industry relations. I look forward to returning to Scotland again to bring other friends to meet Robert and check out some more distilleries, towns, rivers and restaurants.

Exceptional experience. Perfect companion with great local knowledge, sense of humour and helped us go to the best boutique distilleries as was our mandate. Can’t praise the professionalism, care and conviviality highly enough! Robert is an absolute star! And we would recommend him to everyone.

We recommend this tour as a tour of the Speyside distilleries. I did a factory tour of Glenlivet and Glenfarr Class and Robert knew each distillery's tour points and introduced me to how to spend time and take photos before the tour, making good memories. At lunchtime, they introduced us to benches along the Spey River, where we could enjoy lunch with a view of the river. After the tour, they made a surprise stop at another distillery visitor's centre, where we came across a wonderful bottle. I would recommend it to those who have decided which distillery they want to visit.

Highly recommend! Prior to the day of the trip, I coordinated with the tour organizer, who provided guidance on which distilleries required advanced bookings. I made one booking on my own and relied on our driver’s local knowledge to fill in the rest of our day with distilleries that didn’t require reservations. All were excellent choices. If you want to taste more than a dram of whisky, then you’ll definitely need a driver, so you might as well hire one who knows the local distilleries and can take you from one to the next efficiently while you just enjoy the day.

If you don’t do anything else in Inverness, you have GOT to book the Speyside Whiskey Tour. My husband and I had the most wonderful time yesterday with Robert as our driver after making tour arrangements through his colleague, David. Robert was so friendly and welcoming that the hours flew by. He tailored the tour to meet our preferences, even in the spur of the moment. Want to stop to shop? No problem. Grab a sandwich and eat in the car? No problem. Prefer this distillery over that one? No problem. Robert is so knowledgeable of all the places to go that he made it effortless. All we had to do was sit back, relax, enjoy the scenery, and wile the day away between drams! Definitively worth every penny! Robert was the best!!

This tour exceeded my expectations for a day long tour with me and two friends. Our driver and guide, Robert, arrived ahead of schedule just outside our accommodations, so pickup couldn't have been easier. During the drive to Speyside from Inverness, Robert asked plenty of questions about our interests, whiskey knowledge, and which distilleries we planned to visit later on our own so he could tailor our visits to 5 distilleries and a break for lunch. The planning was spot on for visits I was hoping to do including some well known distilleries and some lesser known ones as well. Robert is very easy to get to know, great to talk with, witty humor, and had us laughing SO much the entire day. He honestly felt like an old friend even before we visited our first distillery. During our visits, he gave us the option to have him come into the tastings with us, which we were absolutely thrilled to accept. Having him come in with us was great! He has great distillery and whiskey knowledge, was able to introduce us to the staff, and was great at taking pictures of us as a group. He was so helpful in making connections and ensuring we had our day captured in pictures! He also helped to keep track of time and keep moving (the time really does fly!). And we just enjoyed his company throughout the day! During the drives between visits, he was accomodating to our needs, whether it was temperature or rest breaks. We were very comfortable the entire day, and he checked in frequently to be sure we were all ok. As mentioned, we visited 5 distilleries, several of which I had requested specifically, but he added a couple of new ones I wasn't familiar with into into the tour, and the were definitely worth it. He kept the last one a complete surprise to us, and the value in that visit was superb in quality, quantity, and cost! We had so much fun on the tour, mostly because Robert is so fun to be around and sirens the day with! He gave us more tips on places to visit in Inverness after our tour based on our interests, so that was an added bonus. The day ended with him dropping us off at our accommodations with enough information from Robert for us to easily know more about and enjoy the local area, so the tour carried is value into the rest of the week. Pleased to also mention we ran into Robert several days afterward while he was driving another group and we were traveling on our own. It was great to see him again, like seeing a great friend out and about! Would book again 100%

Robert was an absolute delight. He is a very easy going and fun personality. He has a great ability to keep a fun conversation going in a very natural way, and had our group laughing and engaged the entire day! The whisky spots he chose were great, and he offered great insight into each one before and after each stop. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone seeking to sample a wide range of Scottish whiskey, but definitely ask for Robert to make the whole day fun!

Robert is fantastic. Very kind and knows the best places to go. He even gives tasting tips. I highly recommend him.
