Partecipa a un tour enologico intimo di due vigneti/fattorie locali e delle loro cantine, guidato da un esperto di vino e scopri tutto il processo di vinificazione, dalla vigna alla bottiglia. Divertiti a degustare tre tipi di vino in ogni vigneto, mentre impari di più sui sapori del vino e su come degustare meglio. Quindi sali sulla vetta più alta della regione dell'Algarve, nel sud del Portogallo. Situato nella zona di confine nord di Portimão e Alvor. Con la grande montagna di Monchique, che domina la vista quando siamo nei vigneti, questa grande proprietà ha anche aree in crescita di sugheri, campi di grano e aranci. Nella famiglia dal 1865 e produttori di uva da molto tempo, questa fattoria ha costruito la sua moderna cantina nel 1999 ed è stata la prima azienda a produrre vini certificati a denominazione di origine in Algarve. Nella spianata, al negozio o alle botti di rovere è visibile la tradizione di questa tenuta di famiglia.
Situato a nord di Portimão, già nella contea di Silves. È una produzione vinicola esclusiva, quella situata più a nord della regione, proprio all'inizio dei Monti Monchique. Di proprietà di una coppia portoghese-francese che si è incontrata a Bordeaux, dove è nato e cresciuto circondato dall'influenza del vino. Si sono trasferiti nella regione all'inizio del secolo per iniziare questo progetto da zero. Alle pendici del fiume Odelouca Vlley, hanno piantato il loro vigneto e costruito la loro piccola ma ben attrezzata cantina, che ospita anche una sala di degustazione, una botte e un laboratorio.

What an excellent way to spend the morning and afternoon. The outfit is a family operation, meaning the tour guide has a personal stake in ensuring you have a good time. The vineyards on your tour are family farms that put great effort into producing excellent wines. The view from the terrace on the mountain top at lunch was stunning, and the food was absolutely superb. Don’t miss this very fun activity!

This tour is a must! From start to finish, Fabio was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating for me and our group. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was very good! The scenery along the way was amazing. The lunch at the top of the mountain was quite an experience! Would def recommend!

Our guide Fabio was very informative before the trip answering my queries promptly . On the the day he was very knowledgeable about the wine making process, Both wineries were quite different from each other . Fabio was helpful, knowledgeable, and comfortable to be around throughout the day. The van is also comfortable and air conditioned. We both get carsick and had no issues even going up and down the mountain. There were two of us, so we did one premium tasting and one regular tasting at each Quinta, which was a fun way to try more of the wines. Driving up to Monchique was very beautiful, and you get to see the cork forest on the way up. We went to O Luar da Foia, where we both tried black pork. This is a LARGE amount of food, so go hungry, because it is delicious! Overall, this was a wonderful experience. Fabio is very patient and personable, and answered all of our questions. The wine and food were delicious. Fabio’s recommendations were great. Don’t skip this!

This is an intimate wine tasting and learning experience that Fabio has curated. We learned so much about the history of Algarve wine production through modern day, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and welcoming spirit of the residents in this region.
