Per secoli Norimberga fu la capitale segreta del Sacro Romano Impero tedesco, qui si svolgevano le ben note Diete di Norimberga, assemblee in cui l'imperatore del Sacro Impero incontrò i principi elettori. Per questa importanza cruciale fu scelto come centro di propaganda durante il Terzo Reich. Hitler considerava Norimberga l'erede delle tradizioni germaniche, la capitale dei congressi, volendo mantenere viva la memoria e l'eredità del potente impero germanico del Medioevo nella struttura nazista. Tale era il suo significato che qui risiedeva uno dei più grandi rappresentanti dell'antisemitismo del regime, Julius Streicher, proprietario e promotore del settimanale Der Stürmer. La città ha acquisito il titolo di città tedesca per eccellenza, presentandosi come la località più fedele al regime di tutti.

My guide Fede could not have been better. The tour lasted 3 hours, which went by very quickly. Fede conveys the information in a simple and easy-to-follow manner, as with so many facts, dates, and events, one could leave with their head spinning. But no. I found it very interesting, and any questions from the group were answered. I have learned new things and anecdotes. To give us an idea of what was being discussed, he relied on images that helped to identify figures from National Socialism. I recommend it, both the tour and the guide, without a doubt.
Our guide Federico has been the perfect complement to learn about the history of the Third Reich over three and a half hours through the city center. His knowledge was inexhaustible. We recommend him 100%!

Fede was a fantastic guide. With a wealth of knowledge, he manages to explain why Nuremberg became such an important city during the Third Reich. The only downside: not having more days to continue doing tours with him.
