Il Pantheon è un antico tempio romano di Roma, originariamente costruito intorno al 27 a.C. e successivamente ricostruito dall'imperatore Adriano nel II secolo d.C. È famosa per la sua massiccia cupola in cemento, che rimane la più grande cupola non rinforzata del mondo, e il suo oculo centrale che si apre verso il cielo. Originariamente dedicata a tutti gli dei romani, oggi funge da chiesa ed è uno dei monumenti meglio conservati dell'antica Roma.

The Pantheon was really impressive. I loved seeing the huge dome and the oculus from inside, and the whole place has such a unique atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting while in Rome.

Visiting the Pantheon was a wonderful experience. We entered without any problems, and the audio guide provided us with lots of interesting information about its history and architecture.
