It was such an enjoyable experience. We've seen the floating market in the morning, are one of the best glass noodles soup and tasted so many exotic fruits. The scenery is amazing. The tour was very well balanced between all of the activities. And the best part is we were accompanied by Thinh, a kind and insightful guied and the sweetest bout captain, Vui. We loved it and recommend it.

This tour is a great way to spend a day exploring the vibrant culture of the Mekong Delta. From breakfast on the floating market to visiting the sacred ficus tree and cycling around the countryside, we had a fabulous time. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

Our family had an amazing tour with Thinh… he was very informative and thorough. We were so happy we chose Mekong Smiles instead of the larger boat tours. Our boat was able to go through narrow canals , therefore Thinh took us to a family run rice noodle house. We enjoyed seeing how it was all done. At the floating market he went above and beyond and let us visit a house boat to see how these locals live on their boats. I recommend taking this tour, it was well worth it.

The whole tour was absolutely perfect from the first to the very last minute. Our guide was polite, funny and with great knowledge. The tour itself was perfectly composed of great experiences and I learned a lot ablut Vietnamese culture and food. For me as a foodie is a MUST!

We did a morning Mekong Delta tour with our guide Jimmy Ngo, and it exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. The logistics were smooth, the timing was well planned, and the transitions between activities felt effortless. You could tell this wasn’t a rushed tourist checklist — it was a thoughtfully designed experience. We started at the vibrant flower market, cruised along the Mekong River, visited a traditional noodle factory, explored a beautiful fruit garden where we tasted fresh local fruits, made authentic Vietnamese pancakes ourselves, and finished with a peaceful bike ride through the countryside to see a stunning 300-year-old ancient tree. What truly set this tour apart was Jimmy. His explanations were clear, detailed, and genuinely insightful. He didn’t just give surface-level information — he explained the cultural context, the history, the daily life behind what we were seeing. He was attentive, patient, and incredibly professional, while still being warm and funny. He made us feel comfortable the entire time and handled everything seamlessly. If you’re considering a morning tour in the Mekong Delta, absolutely go with Jimmy Ngo. He made the experience extra special.

We had an amazing experience with the Cai Rang floating market and countryside cycling tour. Our guide Ngan was excellent — very knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about life in the Mekong Delta. She shared so much about local traditions, daily routines, and how people actually live here, which made the whole experience feel authentic, not touristic. The cycling part through the villages was the highlight for us. Riding through small paths, seeing everyday life up close, and interacting with locals is truly the best way to experience the Mekong Delta. Highly recommended if you want more than just sightseeing and really want to understand the local way of life.

We booked a private Tour so we didn't have to get up too early. The tour was excellently organized. A short taxi ride to the harbor, a very experienced, skilled boat captain who steered us through the waves without a drop of water in the boat, and the intelligent, friendly Logan, who could tell us something about everything. The trip through the small tributaries, the visit to the fruit and vegetable garden, and the bike tour were especially enjoyable. Also interesting: the short visit on a Market boat. It greatly enriched our vacation and is highly recommended for getting a real impression of this city and life in general in the Mekong Delta.

I had such an incredible time on the rural bicycle and cai rang tour with our guide Ngan. She was very knowledgeable and took us to see incredible places. The highlight was riding bikes through the rural village roads. Would definitely recommend this tour!
