This was an excellent excursion! Our guide Omar, was very knowledgeable and prompt. Since this was a private tour, we were able to vary time spent in different areas, and eliminate any stops that might not interest us. All of the riads were unique, and provided breakfast that ranged from good to excellent. IN Fes and Marrakech, we were provided with a private guide for the medina. This was very helpful in navigating throughout the area. Our guide in Fes called ahead to reserve a table for lunch, which was a pleasant surprise. Our favorite stops were Chefchaouen, the blue city, and the camel ride in Merzouga. We were able to spend 2 nights and an entire day of exploration in the blue city. The camel ride was an experience we will never forget, and the luxury desert camp with breakfast and dinner was memorable. The varied activities gave us a well rounded look at this beautiful country. There is a significant amount of walking, if you choose to do so. We are 75, and had no problem navigating throughout the streets, for several miles every day. We even climbed to the top of a kasbah, with another guide provided to us. Having a private driver like Omar, made all the difference. It gave us the flexibility we've never had on a small group tour. This was such a worthwhile experience. It is one we will never forget!
