Our guide tried to give us a through history lesson of many parts of Italy besides her home town. It was a little much, but she is passionate about for sure! The tasting was good, and a lot! Go hungry!
This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide Luisiana was wonderful to be with, very informative, easy to understand, and did an excellent job at explaning the history of Civitavecchia. The food choices were outstanding also (and we loved the "surprise" at the end). The information provided worked well with the information provided from the tours in Rome - It was a continuation of the history of Italy. I would highly recommend this tour.
Roberta was a very good guide. Very informative and she brought us to excellent food tasting. Actually more like full meals for a couple of them. All in all a great tour of the history and port area!
We chose this tour rather than go back into Rome as we'd spent 5 days there the week before. We had a marvellous guide who was super proud of her heritage and full of local knowledge. We walked, we talked and sampled beautiful Italian treats and eats along the way from various places. Our final stop was a lovely Italian restaurant where we were served lunch with a choice of wine. Most people were already too full to finish it but we did. It showed us how much Civativechia had to offer and what an important Port town it was and is. Highly recommended tour.
It was easy to meet up with our guide. The walking is easy and several stops along the way. Great history and food tasting!
Oh boy what a wonderful tour! Natalina, our guide was amazing and we were well fed. I am so glad we skipped Rome and its hustle and bustle to do this. Learning about the history, the architecture and many many more was superb-and we were well fed with pizza, a breakfast, Suppli and a meal with wine or an Aperil Spritz. Thank you!
Knowledgeable, fun, more eating than you can do and lots of history. Roberta was kind and tried to stop in shade and be sure everyone's needs were being met!

A fair amount of walking. Our guide did a great job of pointing out numerous historical sits and events in Civitavecchia. The four food stops were very good.
We highly recommend this tour with Raf. So much history explained and the included food was delicious. Do not eat breakfast before going on this tour. We had a coffee with cakes, three types of pizza to try and the last tasting we will leave as a surprise as it was amazing!!!! 😋 It was just the two of us on the tour so felt like we had our very own tour guide. You won’t be disappointed at all if you do this tour 🩷
